Isn't Muppets on at the Globe this week, Kahlan?

 

Oh it is too Damn.

As much as I would love to go to that (and Lord knows I love stopping into O'Malleys on the way) I know I'm just too busy to do so. x____x And I have a driving lesson in the arvo as well, so I'd have to come back out too...

 

I thought Muppets was the 18th? I specifically checked Magnus's original post on the double features, because I've got a monthly meeting at work this Wednesday night, and I wanted to see whether I'd have to try to weasel my way out of it or not. Unless Magnus's post was wrong, Muppets is next week.

 

You know what? I have no idea anymore.
But if it is next week, then fantastic.

 

To clarify; my first post was right, my later verbal statements were wrong.

The Muppets Double Feature is next week, Wednesday the 18th.

So everyone's free to see Sunshine or "Sew! Sew like the wind!" this Wednesday.

I'll put an organisational post up for the Muppets Double Feature after the dust of Nova has settled.

Hey, did anyone actually go to that free screening of Sunshine?

A friend of mine is being a royal prat and insists I see the damn thing and that it's better than Serenity (unlikely!) and all that, and honestly, I need a review.

 

I haven't seen it yet (plan to soon though) but if it's a review you're after this months Empire mag gave it 4 stars stating -

"The first hour provides absolutely zero let-up and only occasional opportunities to exhale.....Aside from a last minute blip this is knuckle-gnawingly tense, goriously handsome action-horror"

Could be okay Perhaps a group outting after SN??

 

Sunshine does sound good. I'll see that once I've muddled through the business end of the week.

But, as we're now a little less busy...

I really want to come to this one, and absolutely will be so long as I'm feeling up to it. I've been a bit under the weather recently, something I'm hoping won't persist into this week.

We've also got Spider man 3 coming out May 3rd.

That would be another good group event.

Well then that makes two of us. Had a very enjoyable time this evening, which has put me much more in the mood to continue enjoying myself.

 

Seems a mention of Nadesico was made during the Doctor Who veiwing... So, who wants to do that series one weekend?

Well that's one... Although might have to do Nadesico over two days as the series is rather longish and unless everybody is really dedicated it can't be done in a day. Well I know I can, but can the rest of you?
