YES ... I read most of my canon fiction books as a teenager

 

How can a society enforce an age limit with being a fan of Star Wars? When I retire, and I am collecting Social Security, am I to old to be a fan? Harrison Ford is 77 years old, I am sure he has not renounced being a Star Wars fan. I am sure I can be a fan for life. Unless J J Abrams keeps making more Star Wars movies.

 

George Lucas is also in his 70s - he'll be 76 in May.

Come across the boards?

I started lurking in 2015-2016, around the time I saw TFA, but I wanted to discuss all things Star Wars.

Username- I like the old EU character Ferus Olin (not based on Ferris Bueller). The title Emperor has a nice ring to it with the name Ferus. Or maybe I felt like ditching school

Favorite era- hard to say, but probably the post Yuuzhan Vong war era. I enjoy a lot of the books and characters from that time.

So many! I’d have to say either Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets or Doctor Sleep.

Dream job- Probably won’t happen soon, but author. I love coming up with stories and characters and building worlds in my mind.

What draws me to the light side?
I’d rather fight for the good side than the bad. I’d rather be among comrades than to just be out for myself all the time.

Not good at overcoming, but I guess try not to add anxiety inducing thoughts into your mind in a given situation. Whatever it is, it will be over and done with soon enough

What link does the EU character Ferus Olin have with a "rebel asteroid base"? I bet there's an interesting story there.

 

Last of the Jedi series-
Ferus leads a group of Rebels and hides them on an asteroid base. In the tenth book, Vader blows it up.

Now that I think about it, Dex’s Diner might also be a good one since Dex was part of Ferus’s Rebellion.
