I learned how to speedrun Pokemon Let's go Eevee.

People wrongly assume that the gyms must be done in the order the game would suggest.
On the contrary, the optimal order favored by speedrunners is 1, 2, 7, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8.

This is possible because after you get the flute you can immediately go to the zoo and learn surf as well. Once you have learned surf, you can go to gym 7 without any problem. Also, thanks to the cut special technique that you learn in the SS Anne ship you can take a shortcut for the ghost city without the need of doing gym 3 to unlock the Diglett's cave.

I learned that mitosis refers exclusively to cell division in eukaryotes. Whereas in prokaryotes, since they have no nucleus and usually only one chromosome, the process is much simpler and is just called binary fission (which I looked up because of Free Association Thread). None of that metaphase, anaphase mumbo-jumbo. Makes perfect sense when I think about it...but for some reason it just never occurred to me before.
