    (shielding eyes from potential spoilers)

Seeing as I'm only on episode 7 or 8 of Season 1 at this point, I've had to settle for merely taping the PK Wars for viewing at some MUUUUUUUUCH later date.

    [sigh]Ah...someday...[/sigh]

I loved the miniseries! It was totally sweet! I watched the finale last night. I won't say anything about it though for those that haven't seen it.

I heard rumors that they were going to bring the show back for a few more seasons beacuse of people screaming at them. any truth to this or is it only a rumor?

I think once I am done with my Xena marathon from netflix I am gonna do a farscape one. I missed the last two seasons but it was still cool to watch the end.

As far as I know there are no plans to do anything beyond this miniseries, but who knows? If the miniseries has high enough ratings, I'm sure SciFi will continue the show.

But if this was the end of the series, it was a pretty good ending.

And maybe in 20 years they'll do Farscape: the Next Generation...

    The miniseries ruled.

I think a Farscape: DS9/B5 is more of a possibility -- they won't be trapped in a war, but will instead have to cope with the trials and tribulations of interpersonal relationships between various cultures on a space station in a neutral sector of space.

And I was able to type that with a straight face. LOL. [face_laugh]

Really, though, it could happen. Part of the lure of DS9 to the franchise to the owners was having 1 set, and 1 set of characters...instead of a huge number of sets, with dozens of characters shuffling in and out in each episode.

It's coming out on DVD January 18, so I don't know if that's necessary for us.

Black And Browder Reunite In SG-1

SCI FI Wire announced that Stargate SG-1 this season will see Farscape star
Claudia Black will reunite with her co-star Ben Browder in several episodes
of the upcoming ninth season. Black is to play Vala, a human character
introduced in the 12th episode of season eight, "Prometheus Unbound," due to
air early next year. "It will air in January [28]," Producer Robert C.
Cooper said. "It`ll be the second episode back in our run on SCI FI. And we
thought she was absolutely wonderful. The character really worked out. She
had wonderful chemistry with Michael Shanks. She plays opposite [Shanks']
Daniel Jackson in the episode." Black will be in five season nine episodes,
which will begin shooting in March. "We are having to ... deal with a brief
absence of Carter, [played by] Amanda Tapping, who's pregnant," Cooper
contiued. "And we had already discussed a storyline that involved the return
of Vala, ... the character played by Claudia. And so we thought it worked
perfectly to have that sort of miniarc play out maybe while Amanda was less
available to us." About the Black character Cooper said, "She's [a] human
from another planet. And she's a bit of . . . an enigma. You're not quite
sure what her true story is in the episode 'Prometheus Unbound.' She's a bit
of a rogue who tells a long story about her planet and her people and her
past, and then in the end you're not really quite sure whether it's true or
    not. So she's a bit of a wild card. She's a very . . . sexy character, who
isn`t afraid to take whatever . . . she wants in any given situation. And we
had a lot of fun writing the role, and I know she had a lot of fun playing
it, and we`re going to try very hard to maintain the integrity of that
character and still have her sort of join up with the team, but still sort
of keep the essence of that wonderful friction that went on between her and
Daniel, and I'm sure it`ll continue to sort of play out with the rest of the
    characters as well."
