Hmmm....hard to say how many I may have completed as a kid (late 70s and 80s) because I watched a lot of TV back then. But I would say during that era the only two that I'm really sure I saw every single epsiode of were M*A*S*H (watching the earlier seasons that I missed when I was too young later on when they started appearing on syndication) and syndicated repeats of the original Star Trek. I also was a big Cheers fan during the 80s, but I'm not sure if I ever did see every single episode..

In my adult life, I can really only think of two series I've seen every one of: Seinfeld (I've probably seen every episode at least 2-3 times, and some episodes more than that) and Sex and The City (though I didn't watch much of it until it had completed its first run). I've probably also seen every SATC ep at least twice.

It's been years since I've watched any TV series (aside from news shows or PBS*), even in this new age of TV on-demand options. By choice, I don't have cable or any streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. If I have time to watch something, I generally prefer to watch movies.

*and yes, even though I'm "only" in my 40s, I fully realize that I have the TV tastes of an octagenarian. I reached acceptance of that fact long ago.:p

Edit: Oh, I did also complete the British version of The Office. I watched the American one regularly until Jim and Pam became a permanent couple but then I lost interest.

The only series that I'm certain I've seen every episode of are "Fawlty Towers", "Monty Python's Flying Circus" (including the fourth series) and "Star Trek: TOS". I'm pretty sure I've seen every episode of "NewsRadio", B5 and "Hogan's Heroes", and I've seen every non-KTMA episode of MST3K.

Well this triggered my OCD and since I watch a ton of Netflix and actually keep lists, this is going to be ugly.

I only listed things I've definitely seen all of, which mostly means stuff in the last decade plus a few exceptions

    30 Rock- 7 seasons
    Agent Carter- 2 seasons
    The Almighty Johnsons- 3 seasons
America in Primetime- 1 miniseries season
Arpeggio of Blue Steel- Ars Nova- 1 season
Auschwitz: The Nazis and the Final Solution- 1 miniseries season
    Baccano!- unfortunately only 1 season
Band of Brothers- 1 miniseries season
    The Batman- 5 seasons
Batman: The Animated Series/The New Batman Adventures- 4 seasons (and a few movies)
    Being Human UK- 5 seasons
    Better Off Ted- 2 seasons

Courage the Cowardly Dog- 4 seasons
Cowboy Bebop- 1 season and a movie

    Deadman Wonderland- 1 season
    Death Note- 2 seasons
    The Defenders- 1 season
    The Devil is a Part Timer!/Hataraku Maou-sama!- 1 season
    Dexter- 8 seasons
Dexter's Laboratory- 2 seasons and Ego Trip (I watched the later seasons sporadically and THEY DON'T COUNT)
Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z (actually I might have missed some episodes in the Android Saga?)- I have no idea how many seasons, but a bunch
    Eureka Seven- 1 season
Firefly - 1 season (also Serenity and one trade paperback)
Freakazoid- 2 seasons, watched many times
Fullmetal Alchemist 2003- 1 season and a movie
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood- 1 season and another movie
The Guild- 6 seasons and a comic, though not all of the one-shots
Hey Arnold!- 5 seasons and a movie and another TV special, though I haven't seen the recent movie
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy- 1 season
House of Cards UK- 3 seasons
How I Met Your Mother- 9 seasons
The Inexplicable Universe: Unsolved Mysteries, with Neil DeGrasse Tyson- 1 season
The IT Crowd- 4 seasons and a special
Inhumans- 1 season and thank god for that
Iron Fist- 1 seasons and counting

    Justice League/JLU - 5 seasons

Mobile Suit Gundam Wing- 1 season and movie
    My Little Monster- 1 season
The Office (U.K.) - 2 seasons (plus Christmas Special)
Stephen Fry's Planet Word- 1 miniseries season (you should watch this if you can; I think it's on Dailymotion)
The Powerpuff Girls- 6 seasons, none of that 2016 series crap
Ken Burns' Prohibition- 1 miniseries season
The Punisher- 1 seasons and counting
    A Pup Named Scooby-Doo- 4 seasons
Pushing Daisies- unfortunately just 2 short seasons
The Roosevelts: An Intimate History- 1 miniseries season
    Rosario + Vampire- 2 seasons
    Runaways- 1 season and counting
    Samurai Champloo- 1 season
Samurai Flamenco- 1 season, which is legitimately amazing
Samurai Jack (okay this is a lie since I haven't seen the new season yet but I was current for over a decade!)- 4 seasons
    Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated- 2 seasons
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! (with an exclamation mark for some reason)- 2 seasons, no we're not counting that one from the late 70s

    The Seventies- 1 miniseries season
    Sherlock- 4 seasons (and counting?)
    The Sixties- 1 miniseries season

The West Wing- 7 seasons watched several times
    White Collar- 6 seasons
Young Justice- 2 seasons (and counting whooo!)
    Zoids: New Century- 1 season

There are potentially dozens of other cartoons and a few live-action shows I could include as well from my childhood that I cannot say for certain I saw all the episodes of.

    Currently Watching:

The only anime I've thought was better than the manga (after having experienced both) that I can think of is DBZ.

And I'm strongly considering a Gundam watch-through after my MCU watch-through.

How do you guys have time to watch all this? I've got this huge backlog of movies, games, TV series...was making zero progress on any of it, and this was before I got a job.

I have to disagree with this pretty strongly; while I love a good DBZ filler episode the actual storyline adaptations are a tremendous disservice to the original. None of Toriyama's charm, or pacing, or eye for composition are preserved, and it only got worse as he got really stylized and sparse in the Cell saga. Then in the Buu saga the anime producers clearly had no idea what to do with the self-parodying tone he decided to run with, so rather than everyone dying being played for laughs it's played as dark but then for laughs and ugh. Ugh.

Used to be I could just say "Watch everything by Tomino" but then he did Reconguista in G and... y'know, maybe skip that one.

The key is to constantly try to fill the immense void left within you by alienation and anxiety with content so that you never, ever stop to think about the horrifying Faustian bargain of your life in which your material needs are met at the expense of living in a suffocating system which is slowly and deliberately killing everything that makes you human from the inside out and you cannot get out you cannot get out YOU CANNOT GET oh hey Seinfeld is on.

I should probably re-read DBZ since it's been years and I never got farther than the Cell Saga there anyway.

Yeah right now the tentative plan is catch up with the MCU > catch up with Doctor Who > read ASOIAF and then watch Game of Thrones > watch all Gundam in sequence > I dunno, Narnia or Pokemon Special, or, what the hell, maybe go on a Dickens binge?
That should keep me busy through 2018 (not that I won't also be watching/reading/playing a lot of other things at the same time... I watched 12 Angry Men for the first time a couple nights ago and it was amazing, praise the almighty Lumet).

This is... depressingly relatable. I also just REALLY like stories, though. Scheherezade would have had an easy mark with me.

Now I want to read 1001 Nights.

I should get to Seinfeld at some point too.
