ST Two blue lightsabers? No green?

Weird to know, that at one point there were 3 lightsabers on Ahch-To

 

Probably still there on Ahch-To, hidden somewhere.

 

Luke tossed his green lightsaber near the end of ROTJ. Unless he went to look for it and retrieve it, before dragging his dad away to the shuttle (which seems unlikely), it’s probably still on the Death Star II wreckage.

Missed opportunity for a memberberry, JJ!

 

I wondered about that. I wondered what happened wit the green lightsaber

 

Why three? Luke's Anakin blue one and Luke's awesome green one. Rey hadn't received Leia's yet.

As other people pointed out, the green lightsaber was still in Luke's posession after ROTJ. It is shown when he's trying to murder his nephew, and then in the flashback where he's training Leia.

 

I take it he made a new one?

Maybe the green saber is in R2. Waiting.

 

I really thought they were going to make Leia’s saber green

 

Pretty sure Luke's green saber is in his hut on Ahch-To along with a bunch of his other stuff.

Or maybe it's inside his X-Wing, who knows?

 

Green for nephews, blue for younglings.

 

Green lightsabers did seem to get ignored the most in this trilogy out of all 3 trilogies. I wish Leia's lightsaber would've been green. It would've been a call callback to her lightsaber in the Thrawn Trilogy.
And Luke's lightsaber (by that, the green-bladed one he made) is still on Ahch-To with the caretakers, I'm pretty sure. What other weapon could The Last Jedi novelization be referring to?

 

He has his lightsaber clipped to his belt during the celebration scene on Endor at the end of ROTJ. He tossed his saber aside to the floor, not down a shaft.

All the Thrawn trilogy comics depict Leia's saber as blue. Most specifically The Last Command, because HTTE also depicts Luke's as blue for some reason. I dont recall if the book does, but I just checked HTTE's earliest passages with Leia's saber and Zahn steadfastly avoids describing colors at all for Luke or Leia. The Wook says green, but Zahn really doesn't describe it initially.

At any rate, Luke built that one for her. The only one she built herself, in Dark Nest, was blue.

I wonder what happened to his green lightsaber though. I mean I like all this nostalgia for the blue but the lightsaber that won the day was the green one.
