Have any of you seen 'Twisted Mego Theater' in Wizard?

 

Don't think I've seen that, Lin. But I did once see live Barbie porn onstage at Circuit Playhouse in a production of Six Women With Brain Death, or, Expiring Minds Want to Know. It was hilarious. Wish they'd do that show again.

 

Man, I don't get out to the theater often, but I'd pay to see that!

 

It was a hilarious show. They did all of these little skits, most of which had musical numbers. They had one called "The Divas go to Motown", where four opera divas audition at Motown in an attempt to cross genres. At one point they were chanting "Can ya dig it, can ya dig it, can ya dig it, can ya dig it, mother &^%$#*!", but in a very proper, white-bred way. They also had a big number called "God is an Alien", where folks swore that God came down in his spaceship and told them to sell Amway and Herbalife.

 

That's not what I was told- I was instructed to sell Avon and Girl Scout cookies!

I actually just ordered some from my nieces and was tempted to at lunch. There were some kids setting up at Target and those thin mints were calling out to me...

 

I have a friend that works for the Girl Scouts of America. I'm sure I'll be talking to her real soon.
