This week I've got photos from 3 movies. You have to guess the movie and tell me the particular thing they have in common.

 

Serenity and the Shining are correct. Thor is not, nor is the sweaters.

I will say that it has something to do with certain characters in the movies, and none of the ones in the photos.

A character in each movie has a premonition/vision.

 

Thor is incorrect as is what they have in common.

 

The screenshot of Stellan Skargard's character Erik Selvig above is from Thor: The Dark World after he gets arrested for being naked at Stonehenge. He's wearing that random sweater that the police probably gave him as he is explaining the Convergence to an audience of mentally ill that aren't paying attention. Go to 52 minutes 34 seconds into the movie to see him holding the two pencils in front of the blackboard.

Did you mean "Good Will Hunting"?
If so, is the connection that all movies contain a puzzle or riddle that needs to be solved?

Correct movies, but not the common thread I have in mind.

 

A character in each film exposes a grand plot.

 

Not the connectin I'm looking for.

 

Each movie has a character prone to violent outbursts.
