Welcome to the new and improved official social thread!
Here's a brief reminder of the house rules as set up by JadeSolo:

1) This thread will be run by the Fan Fiction moderators. Thus, it doesn't belong to any one person or group of people. It is the job of the moderators to enforce the rules. Any concerns about the thread should be brought to us, or any other mod if we're not online.

2) This is the official social thread of the Fan Fiction forums, and so there doesn't have to be a specific topic of coversation at any time. Fanfic-related or thread-specific discussions, however, do not belong in here, as there are many other places in Resource to accomodate your needs. We ask especially that you keep specific story discussion to Resource threads or the story forums.

3) This is also not a place for e-romance, e-bickering, role-playing or any other such thing. If you choose to get involved in these things, it's your choice, but please don't bring the details or drama in here. Be mindful at all times of the TOS in this respect.

4) We know people are eager for conversation, but if there's a lull for a few minutes, don't post just to "revive" things. A thread that's quiet for a few minutes isn't dead. Spamming isn't simply about upping your post count.

5) The general guideline for posting pictures is three per 25 posts. This is a courtesy to the people on dial-up. Also, please try not to quote pictures too much.

6) You snark, we ban. Keep the personal feuds off the boards.

and my #7) Be polite! We were all n00bs once. If a new face happens to wander into the thread give them a friendly "howdy-do".



That said, I'll recommend the gunga fruit pancakes with a glass of funky blue milk.

Yay! We've already got a good crowd in here. It's not wet out there today, but it is unseasonably cold. Then again, it was snowing yesterday. So as a result, my hair is wicked curly from the also unseasonable humidity, but my teeth are still chattering from the swing in temperature.

 

I actually came prepared today! *pulls out chocolate and coffee*.
*Politely accepts a pancake* So what's going on????

I dyed mine yesterday, so it's rather my face that's looking funny in places.

They sell them in little cans, brodiew. Very good, at least to my palette.

I'm quite tired. Stayed up way past my bedtime chatting with ish, Noelie, SoE and Ophelia. Was fun, but left my brain a bit soft.

Well, Jon, Noelie and I needed to get together to welcome him to the cult of our OC as well as letting him ask any questions he might have. Then Spiritofeowyn came on and came into the chat room. Then Ophelia came on and we invited her as well.

I want to get breakfast, but am scared of the rat-housing, hair-cooking cafeteria from heck around here. So I'm sitting with pb m&ms and a root beer.
