I love this short comic.
It makes me so happy and I can't quite decide why.

 

Just preordered the new black series vader. Excited to have a proper representation of the dark Lord in my small collection. A star wars collection is not complete without the big guy.

 

I've always said that vader by jedi is a different vader then empire. He is conflicted and his leaning against the railing after luke is taken away typifies this. Its why its sad when he passes. He's been lied too, used by the emperor. Palpatine wanted luke to take vaders place and when luke refused to turn palpatine hit him with the force lightning.

In the old EU shadows of the empire vader realises his own son is the most powerful man in the galaxy. Thst was a brilliant book and how vader takes down prince xizor is truly compelling. He's protecting his son even then from the black sun leader.
