Tickets to 3 Shaw Brothers movies on the big screen (2 of which are over Memorial Day weekend!) Glad I had that much credit on Fandango. I may try to sneak Deadpool 2 and/or another showing of IW in before one of the weekend showings.

 

A few books and lunch in town today after my doctor's appt.

 

my latest purchase wasn't a success . Was in Waitrose , picked up some hot dog buns went to the counter , an assistant was dead keen for me to use their self-service robots , so we scanned and scanned , wouldn't work , she re-set the machine , got another assistant etc. etc. , "let's try another one " I said , scanned it in another machine , answered all the dumb questions about not wanting bags etc.
Right , where does the money go in ? "oh it only takes credit cards "

I left without the buns .

 

I went to Kohl's and bought 2 new Star Wars shirts and a Thanos shirt.

 

Club sandwich on wheat with lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, pickles, green peppers, cucumbers, banana peppers, mustard, mayo, and salt and pepper.

 

Clothes, including three shirts to wear when working out.

Swapped out one Shaw Brothers screening as a friend wants to see Five Elements Ninjas with me. I will not be surprised if this is the only SB film I wind up seeing given my current schedule.

Plus, hair cut, work clothes *including socks*, water, mother's day card, food, lotto (won $20 on a scratch off).

So my prediction that The Last Jedi novel on kindle would go down to 99P for May the 4th turned out to be correct so I bought that. Amazon also have quite a few other recent SW books at that price too so it's definitely worth checking out if you don't already own them.
