Something that's in between a V-Wing and a TIE Fighter, suggesting evolution over time.

Mon Calamari cruiser as a passenger ship. They were converted into warships latter.

I always figured the Ebon Hawk was a sly piece of wordplay on the part of the devs. Given that in-universe it was allegedly the fastest ship in the galaxy. A simple-english rendering of "Ebon Hawk" would literally be Black Bird... Hmmmmm...

Ships classes from the novels that have not real designs. Look at the Mirrorbright in Bloodlines...all we are really told is that it is 'W' shaped. Would like to see that it actually looks like.

How about the Rand Ecliptic...it has been around in the EU since teh novel and Radio Drama that gave us the Biggs on Tattooine scenes. Also it has changed ship classes many times.

Bring it in as an ship patrolling a heavily populated Outer Rim planet like Eriadu or Lianna that boards the Ghost for a customer inspection. Maybe a Nebulon B frigate.

I would like to say it again...The Nebulon B Frigate....for multiple reasons.

    1. Ties to the Movie...but have it in it's Imperial duties.
    2. We can get a canon answer to how it carries it's fighters....my vote is for upper bow....if you have Complete Cross Sections you can see it should hold enough fighters when you pull out all the hospital space the Rebels put in.

X-wings surely appear- no need to be impatient. I like it how they didn't use them at the start. They could get their own arc.

Wanna see some old ARC-170s used by the Rebels- maybe some V-wings as well as Naboo fighters and headhunters too.
and U-wing dropship/fighter from Rogue One would be nice.

About capital ships- we need to see those classic transports and maybe some repainted/ modified separatist ships and acclamators

I would like to see the names for ship classes...and specific names of capital ships that appear.

What is the class name of the Hammerhead corvettes? Who manufactures them? What are the names of the ships in the Rebel Fleet.

I want to see them add some more of the 'classic' Imperial Ships: Victory-class Star Destroyer and Carrack-class Light Cruiser especially. It occurs to me that they could screw with us a bit with a Victory-class, as Thrawn occasionally used one as a command ship during the Galactic Civil War.

*Rebels blow up an ISD, thinking its Thrawn's flagship, yet the Imperials are still fighting just as well. Turns out Thrawn's on a VSD or smaller ship*

Dreadnaught-class heavy cruisers. They could re-canonize it with a more manageable crew complement fo 1600-1800....as opposed to the 16,000 of the old EU.

Maybe play up the similarities between them and "Separatist Dreadnoughts" - suggest that they're early models from the same shipyards. Though the EU went with "Quarren improved the Rendili design before making their own":

    http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Providence-class_carrier/destroyer

The Providence-class came about as an updated model of Rendili StarDrive's Dreadnaught-class heavy cruiser. Quarren manufacturers, originally working on license for Rendili, improved on the design and enlarged it several times to create new models for the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[1] The Providence-class destroyers were built on the Quarren-colonized world of Pammant.

I think detail like that should be in reference works and backstory in novels...

In the case of the Dreadnaught showing up in Rebels it would be in the form of dialogue. Ezra and Rex are off on their own in The Phantom and they see one over an unimportant backwater planet. When Ezra asks about it Rex says something like "It's a Rendili Dreadnaught...built decades before The Clone Wars. crew or 1600, carries 3 fighter squadrons and 6 support shuttles. The Empire uses them to maintain a presence in backwater systems like this." You set up a good canon story of the capabilities with a few sentences.

I watched every second of the Rebels Season 3 panel from Celebration 2016. No one brought up the topic of X-Wings. Only the powers that be know what's being planned, but the clock on Rebels is winding down. What are they waiting for? A fourth season is not a certainty at all.

And of course, we see a T-65 in a Rebel base in the trailer for Rogue One.

I'd honestly prefer that X-wings not appear at all. Phoenix Squadron doesn't really need them, the A-wings work perfectly fine. And they're already dealing with the Y-wings in the next season (spoilers just in case)
And since they end up giving the Y-wings to General Dodonna, it would be weird to have Phoenix Squadron supply them with X-wings as well. I'm sure Dodonna's group already has X-wings at this point anyway, they would have to have some type of ships that they've been using up until now.
I say we just let Phoenix Squadron have their A-wings (and potentially B-wings) and leave it at that. Maybe a U-wing as well, but I feel even that might be pushing it a little depending on how it's done.

You are entitled to your opinion, of course, however, i'm sure most want to see them very much. Except for the Falcon, Slave 1 & maybe the Star Destroyers, they are the most famous ships in SW. It would be a mistake in reverse of the one made by Abrams in Episode 7. Showing the Resistance only using a newer model X-Wing and no other types was ridiculous. So is showing A & B-Wings before Y & X.

If the Ghost crew works with another rebel cell that has X-wings then it would be fine to me....but I am wtih TheNerdyOne_ on this. Keep Phoenix group using A-Wings and hopefully bring B-Wings into their group as well.

I would actually like to see other starfighters being used by other rebel groups as well like other that the 4 the Rebels had at Endor.

i don't want Phoenix Group to change equipment. It just makes sense for the Ghost crew to work with other squadrons sometimes. Every type of starfighter has its advantages/disadvantages. In my humble opinion, X-Wings are among the most versatile craft the Alliance have. Ask Wedge:D

It would be cool if Sabine got to ride a Basilisk war droid. That kinda counts as a fighter right?
