Star Wars: Rancorrock

About a rancor rock band. At the end of each set, they smash all their guitars and drum sets, and then eat the audience.

In the beginning, they’re selling out small clubs and eating those audiences. But as they start getting more and more popular, they’re playing larger arenas, and the challenge of eating those larger audiences starts to wear them out. Can the band survive the friction that comes with superstardom?

 

"What's happened to you, man? You used to be all about eating the whole audience!"

 

It could be a mockumentary like This Is Spinal Tap. Though in that case it should probably be Rob Reiner, not Waititi.

"Back in the day we just had the passion, you know? We were playing these small little clubs... bash our instruments and then eat all the audience members, you know? It was beautiful. But then... I don't know. These big arenas. It's just not the same. So many fans. Somedays I can barely make myself get off the tour bus before a show. I just always feel so... full."

 

They are waiting for his next hit movie before they say ok get back to work on your star wars script! Then his next disappointment can delay it again. And so on.

 

Stephen King should write a SW movie and Taika should direct it.
