No, It means tell them how to get through their issues, not cramming your own views and opinions down thier throats! With all due respect!

No, criticism has nothing to do with "getting through issues"

Criticism is pointing out what is wrong (and right) with something. Movie critics point out what is wrong with a movie, or what was done right.

Constructive criticism is criticism (as defined above) that is used to make the product (fanfilm, animation, whatever) better.

Non-constructive criticism - "Wow, that sucks."

Constructive criticism - "It may be better if instead of x, you had y.

Swimmerman, why did you PM me what you did? Either PM me the names of these cool 11-12 year olds in the Props forum, or something else, I don't care. But don't PM me what you did.

Am I the only one who was offended by this? What makes it worse is that it's coming from a 13 year old.

 

Just to tell you we haven't changed. It's the fact of the new users ask questions sometimes over and over again and are too lazy to read the Sticky. I mean I know I was a noob because the fact I posted so much over and over again to drive the " Rotoscoping Contest II" thread crazy.

Then until Funk-E and other members who had been here awhile had straightened me out I've stopped spamming and making ridiculous comments. But now all I see are ignorant and stubborn new users posting an FX Test and they won't accept advice from people who know there is a flaw. I've seen the noobs reject help and say their work is the best and just go on and on and on about how you're not a proffessional and just a bunch of crap.

It's quite surprising how since Dorkman and DV gone, nobody is telling the new users what to do or what not to do in a fashion. Dorkman was straightfoward and told the TOS and rules and DV asked them withought harshness or profanity.

I'm quite surprised actually how much I've wrote on this post and it's yet to be my longest. I've just got alot to say about more and more noobs starting to talk back about stuff they barely even know.
