Was Pirates 3 for about a week, but I switched over to Loreena McKennitt tonight for some calming music.
I love Loreena McKennitt. Good stuff. I recently found Blackmore's Night... good celtic fusion. "The Village Lanterne" is very good. After hearing that, I had to add Marc Knopfler's "StoryBook Love" from the Pricess Bride to that playlist.
Today is a mix of Dropkick Murphys, Gaelic Storm, Tron: Legacy, Epica, Within Temptation and various techno.
So, getting ready for my trip in two weeks I've got Who, Heart, and AC/DC downloaded onto my MP3 player (plugs into my car radio so I can hear out of my awesome Pioneer speakers). And a quirky CD called "In it for the Long Haul" by Pat Pepin with my all-time RV song: "Living at a WalMart". You gotta check out the video on Youtube, way too funny! So, speaking of roadtrips, where can I post that I'm desperate for a cat sitter June 9th-13th? My vet now charges $25 a day (not really bad but I can't afford it, gotta use the money for gas you know). Email me if you can feed two senior cats for five days: lynellephi@yahoo.com.
Yeah, I really haven't updated on the event in awhile, so nobody really got reminded of it. I almost forgot myself if Brad in Omaha and my boss hadn't reminded me. If you can make it that'll be awesome, if not we'll miss you!
Lots of Amanda Palmer right now, since I saw her in September and was blown away. And this: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/aureliovoltaire4
Razors Out (Featuring Chino Moreno from Deftones) From "The Raid: Redemption" soundtrack. Awesome action flick (if you don't mind reading subtitles, or you speak Japanese). The fights in this movie are some of the best Ive seen. And Mike Shinoda (from Linkin Park) does all the music.
Turned to KOSI today and Christmas music was on. I thought they had to wait until after Thanksgiving.
