Which of the following AOTC lines is the most classic/memorable?

I particularly like:

"...and then we came here to rescue you" - Anakin

"Good job." - Obi-Wan



But next to that, the death stick thing is what everyone talks about.

 

I loved Nute Gunray's "Somebody shoot her... or something." line. It was hilarious. And then there was the line in the initial Dooku/Detained-Kenobi confrontation when Obi-Wan says "I don't think so." I kept thinking, Dude, Obi-Wan(na be a badass). So cool. Come to think of it, when he's talking to Lama Su, and he says "That's what I'm here for", the whole audience cracked up. Ack, there's just too many great lines in this movie.

 

*You'll be the death of me* line. It was kinda funny. More ironic than actual humour, but still funny. my second choice woulda been the *Death Sticks* exchnge.

The one that did get a good laugh at the theaters was when Yoda went into the karate pose at the final fight scene. But that was a scene, not a line. oh, well.

 

Voted for "the death of me" but I also have to say the death sticks and, "they're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals... I HATE THEM!" are classics.

The "you'll be the death of me" was cool to me because of the tie in with the OT. It was like the force was givin Obi-Wan a little heads-up.

 

Some of my favs are:

"Shut me down!" - C-3PO

"I am quite beside myself." - C-3PO (I'm a real sucker for puns. )

And it was great to see Yoda back as his sarcastic self.

 

Hoe come no one seems to like this Yoda quote:

"Around the survivors a perimeter create!"

Hilarious.

 

Best actor + line in the film...

R2-D2 and : Bleep bloop, beep beep whir

 

One of my favorites probably won't be remembered by many people:

"You call this a diplomatic solution?"-Anakin
"No. I call it aggressive negotiations."-Padme

But there truly are a lot of great lines in it.

 

I changed my mind. My favorite quote is:

"Boba, Uudetsoi!"

 

Ok, doesn't anybody like the Padme/Anakin exchanges - ok, the Truly, deeply was a bit heavy - but I liked Anakin in the fireside scene - he showed he loved her for her, not her power or position

I voted for the animals speech only because it scared the living day-lights out of me. ani really goes phsyco in that scene and shows how unstable and unpredictable he really is. however the fireside scene w/ ani and padme is right up there in my top three. the description of how ani was in agony was very telling of how little he really knows about love. i think padme is the only girl he's ever had a crush on so he thinks it's love. ( very Romeo and Juliet ). my #3 is the lost planet with the kids and yoda!!!

it's a tie between "Oh no, not good", "Lost a planet Master Kenobi has. How embarrasing, how embarrasing...", "Why do I feel you're going to be the death of me?", "Good job.", "I'm going to get a drink." and.... aargh! There's too many of them!!!

Well, the most classic is probably "Why do i feel you're going to be the death of me?" (or however it goes...) because it's so darn ironic. But this movie was filled with great lines! I don't care what some people say... George is a great writer....

One of my favorites that no one has mentioned :

I love this line as well. I voted other because of this line otherwise I would've gone with the animals speech.

its a very close tie between "you'll be the death of me" nad the "lost a planet" one.

 

I voted for the confession.

No fair. Making me choose between some of the most dramatic lines and some of the funniest lines Death Stick Guy. I've failed you. . .

 

The most classic line has to be... "Lost a planet master Obi-Wan has. How embararrassing."
The most classic speach... Anakin's confession to Padme
"The thought of not being with you...I can't breath..."

 

Definitely, definitely, the, "I hate sand," line.
I will always remember the full-body cringe it gave me.

 

that whole scene were ani rages on the sandpeople was probably my favorite, short of yoda. so id have to say the "animals" speech, cause you see ani going bad.
