Darkhorse is famous for expanding on existing planets and species. What species/ planets do you think we should see more of? There are tons of alien species in the SW universe that have so much potential and are really cool that I feel are underused. Same goes for planets.

I think Legacy is doing a great job so far expanding on existing planets, like Bastion, Iego, Vendaxa, Soccoro, etc.
The CW TV series looks promising too on expanding on new planets we havent seen but have only heard of (like Rodia and Shili) , but then again the movie did feature tatooine (yet once again) and coruscant- two overused planets. Teth was used which was nice, and the introduction of a brand new planet like Christophsis was good too. TFU is featuring a lot of overused planets again as well, save Raxus Prime and Felucia. Hoth, Tatooine, Nar Shaddaa, Coruscant and Kashyykk are all featured in the game last I heard.

What planets/species are you interested in seeing more of?

I'd like to see more of what Dark Times started. Crews that are more diverse with more aliens incorporated into the plot. I feel the main series right now are a bit too human centered.

    (red= aliens, blue=near humans)

    Legacy Main cast(current):
    Cade- Human
    Syn- Human
    IKs- Humans
    Fel- Human
    Blue- Zeltron (basically pink human)
    Krayt- Human
    Bantha- Human
    Shado- Twi'lek
    Morrigan- Human
Wolf- Zabrak (humans with horns basically)
    Darth Wyrlokk- Chagrian

    KOTOR:
    Alek- Human
    Zayne- Human
    Lucien- Human
Jarael- Arkanian offshoot (humans with white skin)
Camper- Arkanian Offshoot (humans with white skin)

    Gryph- Snivvian
    Vrook- Human
Q'anilla- Miraluka (humans with no eyes)
    Xamar- Khil
    Celeste- Human
    Revan- Human
    Karath- Human
    Carth- Human
    Krynda- Human
    Rohlan- Human
    Moomoo Bros.- Ithorians

    Dark Times:
    Bomo- Nosaurian
    Crys- Human
    Heren- Yarkora
    Ratty- Tintinna
    Janks- Phindian
    Kru'kh- Whiphid
    Mezgraf- Togorian
    Sniffles- Elomin
    Ko Vakier- Blood Carver

    Piru- Human
    Jennir- Human
    Lumbra- Gotal
    Haka Hai- Ishi Tib

Anyone seeing a pattern? I think dark times might have too many aliens for some people's taste, but there has to be some sort of happy median.
What aliens do you think should be expanded on or would like to see? With dark times cast being cut down a lot, Im hoping for some new members for the crew.

Gungans, I fib not.:) Having a well travelled, Gungan character appear would be awesome, even more so if he/she was a central character.

Legacy has used a TON on aliens that were not on you list. A few key ones include:

Gar Stazi, GA admiral- Duros Male
Jaius Torub, GA captain- Sullustan Male
Jhoram Bey, Rogue Leader- Weequay Male
Mingo Bovark, Imperial Captain- Nimbanel Male

In fact, the supporting cast of Legacy heavily uses aliens, both common (Mon Cal, Twi'lek) and uncommon (Nimbanel, Nautolan).

Who is to say they aren't a hive mind. The male is called a Yoda and the female is called a Yaddle....[face_thinking]

I mean seriously, who lives to be 900?

Monia is also a mon calamari female, I was referring to main characters. Gar Stazi is a main character, the other three i would consider minor/background characters. I'm talking about more aliens having major/bigger roles in the stories.

Meet Cade Skywalker, female Bith. You get a Skywalker, you get a human. Face it the main characters of every story are going to be human or at least near human.

    Three words:
    Vandar Tokare... & Minch

Besides, how do four of the same species become Jedi Masters and NONE of them know what they are?

    That's 3 names and a symbol.:p

No one has ever said they don't know who they are. It's just so obvious to in-galaxy residents that it never comes up. Being short, green, and a Jedi you are obviously Yoda's race. No reason to confirm for sure. It's like someone who is really good at hockey. They are clearly Canadian. Don't even bother asking.

You forgot about a couple in the Kotor comics.

    Slyssk: Trandoshan.
    Arkoh Adasca: Arkanian.
    Eejee: Duros.
    Vandar: Yoda guy.

    Planets:

Alderaan, especially in the Kotor era.
Trandosha, it's mentioned in so many sources but we never see it.
Mandalore, as it appears in the Kotor era.
Nar Shadaa, as it appears in the Legacy era.
Iridonia, another planet mentioned in many sources but never seen.
    Chandrila

    Species:

    Gran
    Saurin
    Gungan, like Tarpals.
    Nagai
    Taung

Well, I would not define character that appear in two or three issues "minor" or "background". Both those definitions imply that the characters are flat or intended to be one timers. I prefer calling them "supporting cast", as that implies they are important to the story.

For example, Jhoram Bey is the commander of Rogue Squadron. He appears in issues #20-22. And, based on the popularity of that GA-centered arc and Gar Stazi, it is very likely we will see more of the Rogues again. That means Monia (Mon Cal female), Ronto (Klatooinian male), and Andurgo (Dug male) will all appear again.

In addition to those I have mentioned above, other supporting characters include:

Astral Vao (female Twi'lek of the Imperial Mission)
    Kee (Devaronian female)
    Chak (Wookiee male)
Hosk Trey'lis (Bothan male Jedi Healer)
Darth Nihl (Nagai male Sith Master)
Darth Maladi (Devaronian female Sith Master)
    Rav (Feeorin male)
    Nei Rin (Yuuzhan Vong female)

IMO, both KOTOR and Legacy have done a fantastic job using alien species.

Dark Times really has a lack of Human characters now that Crys got Rakgoulified. They're gonna have to do something about that.

I think KOTOR is doing fine mostly, even though most of the aliens (aside from Gryph and Jarael) are minor characters. Legacy is doing fine too IMO. So far Krayt is the only human Sith Lord we've seen part of his empire.

I would like to see more Selkath as someone else mentioned, especially in the KOTOR comics. If we're lucky they might even make a trip to Manaan.

As for planets, I'd like to see more of Ziost. So far I think we've only seen it in TOTJ and even then only briefly. Ziost was basically the Sith capital world and I thought it never got the attention it really deserved.
