Why are chicks kissing 'hawt', but boys kissing 'ew'?

I have no reaction to girls kissing. Boys kissing sometimes makes me giggle and sometimes it's a bit hawt.

My most common reaction to seeing anyone making out however is 'ew go suck face out of my line of sight before I gag all over you'.

 

Cause straight guys don't want their friends to think they're teh gay.

 

Because this is the way of the world.

 

it's because girls are SO MUCH cleaner then guys are

 

I'm a homophobe, but I'm also a blatant hypocrite. That's my explanation.

 

It has nothing to do with that for me. It's just discusting to me. It's no different if I'm seeing it by myself or with other people.

imo if you consider that most public displays of sexuality are for male benefit and most males find male homosexuality threatening or something cause they're used to being "predators", seeing guys kiss freaks them out cause they realise that there are potentially "predators" who could be preying on them. Hence the hostility towards homosexuality.

I have no clue as to whether girls find boys kissing appealing or not because quite frankly I'm not a girl and can't speculate.

Foxi - I think it's the same idea as why you find guys kissing funny/hawt and don't feel anything about chicks. Seeing people the same sex as you make out doesn't do anything for straight people, because there's two times the parts that we don't want to look at anyways. But the opposite sex- now you've got two times the fun parts that we prefer(2xthe boobies = ) and that is why men like two chicks making out.

Simple. I find the idea of two guys together to be a big turn-off. It's not something I can control.

 

If they're not passing a piece of poo between each others' mouths as they kiss, I'm not interested.

At all.

 

The way I see it is this. Women are beautiful things. Kissing is a beautiful thing. Guys are not beautiful. Thusly, two chicks kissing is composed entirely of beautiful things, while a man kissing a women, or a man kissing a man, is not composed entirely of beautiful things. QED.
