When you are reading a book and you get an idea from a throwaway line a character. Got this reading 'Heir of the Jedi' when Luke wonders out loud if those power converters he ordered are still at Anchorhead waiting for him to go pick them up. Idea is that the power converters somehow end up in Vader's hands along with Luke's name on the box sparking his curiosity but I haven't been able to quite figure out exactly how Vader gets his hands on them.

 

As part of the same investigation that brought the stormtroopers to the Lars homestead? Sounds like a brilliant idea though, I'll read it when you write it

 

Maybe they are investigating everyone that lived on the Lars Homestead and the power converters ended up in a storage warehouse and some lowly officer was charged with bringing some power converters to Lord Vader and some farmer on Tatooine who might be dead isn't going to need them so he brings them to Lord Vader still in their box labeled 'To Luke Skywalker, Lars Homestead, Grid Ten, Northern Hemisphere, Tatooine, Tatooine System, Arkanis Sector, Outer Rim.

YKYAFFWW you decide to change a completely normal SW character name, Talon, to Charon; because it will go SO HILARIOUSLY WELL with his partner-in-crime's first name.

 

I need help (as if you didn't know )...

...to come up with a GFFA name for the music genre, punk [rock]. I know jazz is jizz, I thought of punk becoming plonk, but that is even more ridiculous. So...ideas?

Slash durasteel makes me think of something sexual seeing what slash means in the fanfiction world. But I would probably go to see their concert out of curiosity. I guess I am slash-curious.

 

Hope the same is valid even if they end up being pronk...I mean, who doesn't like pronk?

Ahem. Lecture for the day: 'Pronk' is a Boer/Dutch word meaning to bound, or leap with all the legs bunched together, whether two or four. A good example is M. Pepe LePew as he bounds after Mlle. Penelope Pussycat.

Just realized that 'bounder' could be a synonym for 'pronker,' with unfortunate connotations.

... when you start watching Rebels, even though you wanted to finish TCW first, because you heard that Bail Organa makes a couple brief appearances which will eventually be relevant to a fic.

 

It's a good show - beautifully animated backgrounds, and so forth. Hope you like it, and Bail's appearances!
