they actually use the Logan's death theme (Which started in The Wolverine) in Deadpool 2 when Wade takes forever to die.



Oddly it kinda works both as a joke but also as a great piece of emotional music. Something can be two things!

 

As ive said Jackman will be Wolverine again and Downey will return as Iron Man , also Chris Evans as Captain America , those 3 together in a movie would be box office gold and they can use whatever baloney alternate universe multiverse they want to make it happen lol

 

And in other MCU news:

 

Ah man, that sucks to hear.... I know this was supposed to start shooting very soon, but now I hope there's a bit of a delay so that whoever comes in to take over actually gets a bit of a reset time to retool the project in their own way, as much as they're allowed to do so.

I really hope this project can live up to the first two Blade movies, 'cause those two will always hold a special place in my heart.

They have to get a really good action director with a knack for horror for this, right? Give us something as exciting and off-putting as Blade's bloodbath nightclub opener, or as stylish and gross as Blade II's big sewer set piece and Reaper dissection. There are a lot of directions you can go here, and a lot of interesting combinations of action and horror that could be yield some wildly different and exciting results. I really hope they capitalize on that.

 

I don't see how someone doesn't put this in an October slot somewhere, but what you're saying makes sense.

So, yeah, there's not really room at the end of the year unless they move F4 to Feb 2025 and put Blade in Oct 2024...

 

I think most release dates have to be considered somewhat tentative at this point. Hopefully we won't ever have to shut down the theaters again, but who can really know for sure.

 

Captain America is the only thing I recognize on that list. Is that lower right a Black Panther sequel or something else with claws? Four is the fourth what? The Fourth Reboot of the Fantastic Four? Now Celebrating Four Attempts. "Fourth Time's The Charm"

The Sony Marvel is by far the best Marvel right now. Also the worst. The pure Disney stuff is sort of sandwiched between it as a bland tuna salad concoction.

 

The Sony spiderverse cartoon is widely regarded as the only truly creative content to come out of Marvel IP in more than a decade. And its most recent Spider-Man live action feature is the most successful and best of the cinematic universe in years. And Morbius is the worst thing I can remember sitting through in recent memory.
