Welcome to the new, revamped Young Jedi Knights Index.


This new and improved index aims to provide a complete index of YJK-related fics. The index will primarily be just that, an index- but depending on participation, it could just as well as provide fans with a community to discuss the series, share their work, even with a section for fanart, and maybe challenges to participate in.

Just a quick bump to let everyone know the Index is still alive.

Also, to let people know that by Kiyuuchan's suggestion, the Index will be accepting fanart of the YJK characters for a fanart section!

Of course, the same rules will be in effect- the art must contain YJK characters and/or pairings. (In the case of the Solo twins, it would be nice if we could stick to the YJK era).

That's fine, especially considering a few of our YJKers don't get quite enough attention to have a rule quite so narrow. Where the Solo kids are considered, however; it'd be nice if we could try to stick to mostly YJK era, with exceptions, of course.

Okay, here's a question:

Why do you like/write the YJK characters? Who are your favorites to use?

 

I'll answer!

a) I write YJK because it's moldable. There's a little gap between YJK & NJO, and it's great to write AU's with.

b) I've been honing my skills on writing different personalities for the same people: Jaina and Zekk. I dunno, they're fun to play with sometimes.

I like writing them because they were my first SW. I read the YJK before even watching all of the OT. Darth Vader was a 'man with asthma' to me when I picked up 'Heirs of the Force'.
