Yeah--I figured. Sarcasm so thick you can cut it. Yes, i do believe they occasionally have rallies down there. Lots of crotch-rockets in that part of town; fewer Harleys. No offense to South-siders out there!

Lots of rockets, few Harleys... My kind of place!

Just depends on your preferred type of noise pollution--loud whine or loud growls. Kinda makes the podrace scene seem pretty tame.

Yeah, I don't care much for bikes that whine. That's why I ride a V-twin.

Anyway, this is getting off topic...

Yeah, yeah. Off topic. Nice bike. Kinda looks like an A-Wing if you squint at the picture.

Okay... I caved. I'm so weak.

Yesterday I took the cash from dinner and blew it on Legos, Jedi Starfighter, and a Count Dooku viagrasaber. I feel so dirty.

Heheheh. Couldn't resist the Dark Side of the Fandom, calling you to throw down your weapon and buy toys, huh?

I've actually relished being able to go to down the toy aisle and looking at all the Star Wars figures now that I don't have to worry about spoilers. It's been most fun looking at all the neat stuff that I won't buy because I already spend too much $$$ on my other hobby....

Although that Dooku lightsaber is pretty tempting. It'd look great with my other lightsabers.

But you know what I almost bought today? I found two of the four Playskool SW sets at K-B Toys. They are just so cute. The two cooler ones, such as the Jedi Duel, of course weren't there, so I decided not to buy the other ones.

I am debating what I'm going to do in three years. While I probably won't buy the toys, I would like to just be there for the insanity of Midnight Madness at TRU....

-SJ/Who happened to just glance down at the TF.n headlines below and misread the "NBC Extra Features Star Wars Special" blurb as "NBC Features Star Wars Holiday Special". *shudder*

On the way back from Schaumberg, we had to make a pit stop at a Barnes & Noble (ran into Tom from the Chicago Force too). Well I went in with the intention of getting the AOTC Visual Dictionary, but I left with the OT "Art Of..." books instead for about $65. They're not exactly the books I remember from grade school, but close enough.
