A couple of quick questions

Did we ever figure out who Sifo Dyas was and why he ordered a clone army?

Who erased the Jedi archives?

Please don't redirect me I don't want to read a whole thread, just a quick answer will suffice.

Yes, remember Tyranus/Dooku is the one who recruited Jango Fett to be the template for all the clones.

Dooku was also a very highly-regarded Jedi Master at that time, so he had the right access to the Jedi Archives to be able to erase Kamino from the maps and could easily get close enough to Master SyfoDias to be able to kill him.

I also have a question here though... Was Dooku the one who posed as SyfoDias at the specific moment when the order of the creation of the clone army occurred?, or was it Sidious posing as SyfoDias?

I've always thought it was fairly self evident in AOTC that they were both Dooku. I would have liked it confirmed in the film though.
