    There is a part of the movie where right after Han and everyone flees from Hoth, they show a lot of Death Destroyers and other ships in space but, what is the name of the big black massive one? With all of the red lights on it?

    Are you referring to this ship:

    [image=http://www.fanwarz.com/images/episode5/impships_015.jpg]

    It's the Executor, Vader's personal Star Destroyer and the flagship of Death Squadron.

    BTW, the red lights are the engines.

    Ahh, thank you very much! I appreciate it.. My bad about thinking the engines were lights.

    I'm curious, how can people not know the name of the Executor?

    People have lives to live.They watch the movies and have fun,they don't need to know or care to know every meaningless fact about Star Wars.

    agreed. There is a lot of things i don't know about SW. Even the SW geeks are making fun of the SW geeks. This isn't looking good.

    Reeeaaaal nice there comet. Now if it was someone like Bib who made that mistake, that'd be fine. But this guy seems new to SW so, instead of laughing at him, you could have politely corrected him. Aesium, they're called Star Destroyers ;)
    Actually, we should pity him. I think it's clear he once had a flourishing life and is now dwelving not only in SW, but SW message boards! Run amigo, run!

    Some Star Wars fans aren't as wretched and pathetic as most of us. They are rookies.

    Who's saying Ackbar didn't know Executor's name? Maybe he was saying that to avoid confusion, so his men would quickly go after it without worrying about what the ISDs were called.

    Why are you dehumanizing us then? Does our immersion in SW differentiate us from humanity?

    Actually, i've been a big fan of star wars since i first saw it in 95 when my friend bought the movie. I know quite a lot about Star Wars and yet, I just didn't know everything about the movies. I never cared that much to know the name of the ships, I knew that there were ships called Star Destroyers, I just always assumed that the Executor didn't have a name but when I saw the movie again, I realized how big that ship was. I've put plenty of time into the movie but, now Im just beginning to pick out things I didn't know about it. I am certainly not a newbie but, you could consider me as a beginner. It wouldn't hurt but, the laughing did... :/

    J/K.

    Bye.
