Reminds me of the teaser poster for Dark Knight Rises
I like this a lot, except for the use of the word "evil," which I don't think we hear much, if at all, in the series. Maybe I'm just forgetting. Still, the darkside is more synonymous with Star Wars than evil, so what about "Beware the darkside" or "Beware the path to the darkside"?
"Anakin, Palpatine is evil!"
"From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!"
"A young Jedi named Darth Vader, who was a pupil of mine until he turned to evil..."
"That place. A domain of evil it is."
"He's more machine, now, than man. Twisted and evil"
Pretty cool and polished. I like it. I think the tag line is a little clunky. I think it would be better as one sentence. And even though the word evil is used in the movies, I'd keep it "Darkside" branded. And I ditch the evolves part.
Thank you. Had a feeling I was wrong.
They even mention Hell twice in the OT. Can anyone guess where without googling?
Han Solo: "I guess I'll see you in Hell!" (Hoth)
only one I can think of without googling lol
Hint: Uncle Owen said it
"they'll be Hell to pay"
thanks for the hint
Really like this poster. My only suggestion, which someone else commented above, is that the tagline doesn't click too well. I'd prefer something like "Evil Never Ends; It Evolves." Great work though, and honestly, my favorite of the many Episode VII fan posters floating around The Internets.
I have to say that fan art has gotten 500% better than the pre-prequel days of people cutting and pasting different celebrity faces (and their own) onto previously produced Star Wars posters.
I saw this earlier today - I was just about to post it. Outstanding work.
And of course, this one gives me chills.
Much more well made than a lot of the early ones, but I don't like the general story set out there. Too much resurrection. Also, why is it Ep. XII and not VII?
This has been the best one I've seen:
From artist Josh Lange's Tumblr
Not too shabby photo manipulation of older Han:
I dig the SURVIIVE treatment
Some good ones above
Photoshopped/chopped this one together recently and wanted to share. It's based on the classic Wrath of Khan poster, given the JJ Abrams ties to Star Trek, and all... hehe
Yeah good one
Don't know if this has been posted but I thought it was pretty cool:
I liked it mostly for the titles at the end.
