    Aren't you contractually obligated to obey the lock anyhow when you make the purchase? I thought the whole point of the deal is that you get a discounted price on the handset, provided that you stay with the particular carrier for the duration the contract stipulates. If you could just breach the contract whenever you felt like it all this time, then anyone who hasn't abused this until now has essentially been a sucker. [face_plain] Have I misunderstood the situation here? :confused:
