There was this ocean series I watched in elementary school and this guy looks a lot like the Captain of that (I think it was a PBS show), and now it's bugging me, because I don't remember the name.

 

The odd thing is, this face is part of one of those 'identify the celeb' quizzes. The kind you get in pubs. The rest of them were bog-standard famous people - no trouble whatsoever.
