Memph, TN AOTC Viewing - Saturday, November 16

We've settled on a date, now what time do we want. I think we're gonna be a Qui-Gon Tim's house again (suprise Trace!!!!), unless somebody else volunteers their crib. I say around 4:00 PM, but I'm TOTALLY free that day!!! Wooo hoo!!

 

4:00 sounds good to me, Chris. We wanna make this a pot-luck dinner kinda thing? I have a great recipe for fried possum.

 

4pm sounds like a winner to me! We'll be there!!

 

Potluck sounds good....minus the fried possum......lol. I make a "mean" cheesy potato casserole. What's everyone thinking of bringing??

 

OK, I'll bring Borchst!! Wait....that's a potato product..... No can do.

 

Hey, isn't Borscht the singer/actress that starred in that weird movie "Dancer In The Dark" and wore that hideous dead swan dress to the Oscars that year? No....wait....that was Bjork.

 

What in the world is Borchst???? Oh...Steven, did I forget to tell you that my new dress is a swan dress? LOL..kidding, kidding. Bjork's swan get up was a rather hideous creation....it leaves me wondering what costume shop's clearance rack did she hit after halloween?? YIKES!!!!!

 

I have that same dress in my closet. What are y'all trying to say...? QGT looks perplexed

I haven't decided on what exactly to make as of yet. I'm leaning towards something of the charred animal flesh variety, but I haven't decided exactly what critter I want to roast.

Alright, chili!!! Should make for an interesting movie viewing. It may turn out to be like the campfire/bean eating scene from "Blazing Saddles"!!!!

Okay...so, if we have chili...isn't that pretty much a meal by itself? I'll bring some Fritos. Ya can't have chili without Fritos...I think it's a Tennessee state law or something.

 

You are absolutely right about that, Steve. Better bring a couple of bags....we don't want the SWAT team to come in on us for breaking the law.

 

I have no idea what to bring, I'm not exactly much of a cook.

 

That's what grocery store deli areas are for. Just peel their labels off and pretend as if you prepared the snack and/or meal.

He he, I think it's funny when people bring KFC but put it in a really nice bowl. Like anybody isn't gonna know that it's KFC!!!

 

And everyone is well-versed in the flavor of the mysterious seven herbs and spices....like we won't know the flavor right off!!

People do that at family functions, too. Me.....I would nev... QGT breaks down... OK!!! I ADMIT IT.... I'VE DONE IT, TOO!!!

And I'd do it again!!!!
