    tom's new shells 126, BCHPPRRST 104
    Play-by-Play

This one turned into @LloydChristmas's favorite TV show - the Steph Curry Show - and tom's new shells rolled to a blowout road win to open the series.

Curry was sizzling and scintillating, making 11 of his 16 field goals, including 4 of his 5 triples, en route to 30 points. He added 8 assists and 5 steals, just for good measure. Curry scored 22 of his points in the first quarter, as tom's new shells buried their opponents early, leading by 21 before the first quarter ended.

Russel Westbrook (14 points, 13 rebounds, 9 assists) and Kevin Durant (16 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds) also shined in an offense that shot 54.9% from the field, and Wilt Chamberlain dominated inside, scoring 17 points, blocking 3 shots, and grabbing 15 rebounds - helping to stake tom's new shells to a 53-46 edge on the glass.

BCHPPRRST got 22 points from James Harden and a double-double - 10 points, 10 rebounds - from Hakeem Olajuwan.

    tom's new shells 109, BCHPPRRST 99
    Play-by-Play

BCHPPRRST stayed in this one a little longer, but the end result was the same.

A spectacular 30+ point performance from a superstar on tom's new shells. Great support from those surrounding that superstar. And an other win for the shells.

This time it was Kevin Durant shining, scoring 31 points on 11-for-19 shooting, and adding 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Russel Westbrook stole the show, though, with his triple-double effort of 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists.

Steph Curry added 14 points, Dirk Nowitizki 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists, and Wilt Chamberlain a workmanlike 17 points, 10 rebounds and 7 blocks to dominate the paint.

BCHPPRRST defended better - holding tom's new shells to 45.7% shooting - but simply let the shells get to the line too often, with tom's new shells attempting 16 free throws to just 9 for BCHPPRRST.

BCHPPRRST was lead by Dominique Wilkins with 17 points and 9 rebounds, and Hakeem Olajuwan with 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.

    BCHPPRRST 114, tom's new shells 104
    Play-by-Play

BCHPPRRST new they had to put in a better effort and get off to a better start to avoid being swept on their home floor.

A gritty defensive effort helped them do just that.

They opened the game on a 7-0 run, keeping tom's new shells off the board for almost minutes into the game. Then, in the third quarter after tom's new shells had rallied to take the lead, BCHPPRRST used a 16-2 run to retake the lead and grab the win. They won the battle on the glass - 58-47. They forced turnovers - 13 from tom's new shells to just 7 for BCHPPRRST. And they got the win they needed.

Vince Carter had 17 points to top BCHPPRRST, Elvin Hayes had 13 points and 10 rebounds to turn in a double-double, and Dominique Wilkins scored 16, grabbed 8 rebounds, and picked up 3 steals.

tom's new shells shot 50% - 10 for 20 - on triples, lead by Steph Curry, who made 5 of his 8 long range attempts on his way to 27 points, but that wasn't enough to get the win here.

    tom's new shells 108, BCHPPRRST 93
    Play-by-Play

Back in Oakland, tom's new shells got back to their dominant ways and their hot shooting.

They made 53.9% of their field goals, including 50% (12-for-24) on triples. They assisted on 32 of their 41 field goals made.

Steph Curry lead the way with 24 points, on 9-of-16 shooting, including 6-for-11 from deep. Kevin Durant added 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. And, Russel Westbrook had 16 points and 10 assists.

BCHPPRRST got 15 points and 10 rebounds from Elvin Hayes.

    tom's new shells 110, BCHPPRRST 106
    Play-by-Play

tom's new shells used hot shooting from three-point land, and held on late against a furious rally that ran out of time to lock up a series win over BCHPPRRST.

tom's new shells connected on 8 of their 15 triples (53.3%) percent, with Steph Curry hitting 5 of his 6 long range efforts, en route to 25 points. Curry added 11 assists, as well. tom's new shells also got 19 points and 13 rebounds from Wilt Chamberlain and 19 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds from Russel Westbrook.

And, that still almost wasn't enough.

Entering the fourth down by 11, BCHPPRRST continued to fight, scratch, and claw their way back into it. But, time was not on their side, the hole was too deep, and the comeback fell short.

Vince Carter scored 22 for BCHPPRRST, and Hakeem Olajuwan had 14 points, 19 rebounds, and 7 offensive rebounds (tom's new shells had only 8 offensive boards as a team in the game).

    tom's new shells 133, BCHPPRRST 97
    Play-by-Play

From almost the opening tip, tom's new shells absolutely dominated this game.

But, we should note, BCHPPRRST had a 2-0 lead early. That, however, was just about the last thing to go right for them in the game.

A 10-0 run for tom's new shells followed that fleeting lead, and an 11-0 run followed later in the first quarter, as tom's new shells lead by as many as 22 in the first quarter. From there, tom's new shells played the role of cat, toying with the mouse that was BCHPPRRST.

tom's new shells shot 57.1% from the field, 69.2% from three, and had four different players score more than 20 points.

Steph Curry lead that charge with 29 points, connecting on 12-of-19 shots and 4-of-6 triples. Russel Westbrook had 22 points, and added 16 assists, 7 rebounds, and 6 steals. Wilt Chamberlain added 21 points and 7 rebounds to the mix, and Dirk Nowitzki added 20 points on 8-for-12 shooting.

BCHPPRST got 15 points from Bob Pettit as their leading scorer, and Damian Lillard had a single turnover ruin his bid to turn in a Three-Trillion.

    Series Summary:

tom's new shells: 5 wins, 1 Loss, 700 points for, 613 points against
BCHPPRRST: 1 win, 5 Losses, 613 Points for, 700 points against

The Lando System 102, Instruments of Destuction 83
    Play-by-Play

Suffocating Defense, a great third quarter, and a balanced offense helped the Lando System continue their perfect start to the system.

Three fantastic performances from Artis Gilmore, Kevin McHale, and Chris Paul certainly didn't hurt, either.

McHale was the center point of the offense, scoring 24 points and adding 8 rebounds and 4 assists on 10-for-16 shooting. Chris Paul was the engine that made the offense run, scoring 18 points and dishing out 14 assists. And Gilmore did a little bit of everything inside, scoring 17, grabbing 15 rebounds, blocking 4 shots and adding 3 steals.

Overall, the Lando System shot 48.8% from the field, and limited Instruments of Destruction to just 40.9% from the field, and just 3-of-14 from three.

Charles Barkley lead Instruments of Destruction with 23 points and 11 rebounds, and Julius Erving added 19 points.

Instruments of Destruction 111, The Lando System 97
    Play-by-Play

Instruments of Destruction used a dominant fourth quarter to hand the Lando System their first loss of the season.

Instruments of Destruction used a 14-0 run in the fourth quarter to turn a 1-point deficit into a 13-point lead, keeping the Lando System from scoring for over 7 minutes of game time in the process.

Karl Malone lead the way with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Charles Barkley added 19 points, Julius Erving scored 16 and added 10 rebounds and 5 assists, and Sidney Moncrief scored 11 off the bench.

The Lando System will want to forget both their defensive performance and their shooting performance in this one. They allowed Instruments of Destruction to shoot 56.8% from the field, while shooting just 38.8% themselves.

Julius Erving scored 24 points (but did need 27 shots to get there) and grabbed 14 rebounds, and Artis Gilmore had 14 points, 16 rebounds, and 7 offensive rebounds.

Instruments of Destruction 107, The Lando System 103
    Play-by-Play

This one had everything you could ask for. Back and forth, end-to-end action. High Drama. And plenty at stake at the end.

Three times in the final 34 seconds, the Lando System pulled to within 2 points. Every time, Instruments of Destruction answered through Karl Malone, who scored 8 of his 17 points in the final half-minute of the game. Eventually, the Lando System ran out of chances and time, and Instruments of Destruction took the win.

The teams were evenly matched throughout the game. The Lando System shot 49.4% from the field, Instruments of Destruction 48.2%. Instruments of Destruction grabbed 44 rebounds, the Lando System grabbed 43. The Lando System assisted on 32 of their 41 buckets, while it was 31 of 41 for Instruments of Destruciton.

Charles Barkley lead Instruments of Destruction with 21 points, while Wilt Chamberlain posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

It was Larry Bird leading the way for the Lando System, with 33 points and 11 rebounds, and Chris Paul offered up 26 points and 16 assists.

The Lando System 136, Instruments of Destruction 133 (2 OT)
    Play-by-Play

Back home, the Lando System got back to their winning ways.

    Barely.

John Stockton made a three-pointer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime. Artis Gilmore scored at the buzzer to tie it up and send it into a second overtime. Larry Bird made a shot to extend the lead to three with 5 seconds left in the second overtime, and Charles Barkley couldn't get a shot off to try to force a third overtime, allowing the Lando System to take the game and even the series.

Julius Erving was the star of the night, with 34 points, 10 assists, and 9 rebounds for the Lando System, and Artis Gilmore added 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Karl Malone and Julius Erving each scored 24 for Instruments of Destruction, with Malone added 12 rebounds, and Charles Barkley added 20 poitns and 11 rebounds.

Both teams shot incredibly well - 59.4% for the Lando System, 53.3% for Instruments of Destruction.

The Lando System 105, Instruments of Destruction 104
    Play-by-Play

Another absolute classic from these two teams.

Artis Gilmore scored in the final minute to make it a one-point game, and then came up with a block on Wilt Chamberlain on the other end to give his team a chance to take the lead. They didn't waste that opportunity, as Kevin McHale tipped in a Julius Erving miss to give the Lando System the Lead with 22 seconds left.

That lead didn't last long, as Karl Malone put Instruments of Destruction back on top just 6 seconds later. But, with three seconds left, Larry Bird hit a bank shot to put the Lando System back on top, a lead they'd hold on to when Wilt Chamberlain's shot at the buzzer wasn't true.

And, suddenly, the fans could exhale.

Karl Malone scored 31 points grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out 7 assists in the losing effort.

Larry Bird had 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists, and Chris Paul had 15 points and 14 assists for the Lando System.

The Lando System 100, Instruments of Destruction 80
    Play-by-Play

After two all-time great contests, this one felt like a bit of a let down.

Fans of the Lando System, however, will take it, as they were able to cruise to a win in the series finale.

22 points each from Larry Bird (who added 12 rebounds) and Chris Paul (who added 14 assists) lead the way, and Artis Gilmore added a beastly 15 points and 20 rebounds.

Instruments of Destruction got 16 points from Karl Malone and 13 from Wilt Chamberlain.

    Series Summary:

The Lando System: 4 Wins, 2 Losses, 643 Points For, 618 Points Against
Instruments of Destruction: 2 Wins, 4 Losses, 618 Points For, 643 Points Against

Can someone tell me when ESPN Classic is running a replay of that fourth game? Hopefully, they do a double-header with the fifth game right after it!
