Does anyone here play BattleTech besides me? I mean the board game and RPG as opposed to the MechWarrior Computer Games

My group played it once, but it wasn't very popular...
Those "trauma" things got too much in the way...
...though it was very funny to see the "loves to sing" guy sharing a Mech w/ the "uncontrolable hate of singing" guy.

...and I always fled the scene w/ my Mech when a deer showed up...

That wasn´t Battle Tech, Gry... It was Robotech, the "anime" that started all of this stuff of giant robots...

I played Battle Tech once... The game is interesting, but I have a trauma of board games...

Gry, was this Robotech so bad?

hehe, it wasn't so bad, as I said, it was fun. Just not my style...

Sorry about the confusion, too many Techs for my head...

I liked it. We played with everyone having two mechs. It was great. I might try to play up at GenCon this year.

Does anybody know which one was first, the original Mobile Suit Gundam series (which I know for a fact was released in 1979) or Robotech?(Has anybody else seen it out on DVD yet? I got 'em yesterday! Ah, memories...)

Yeah, I play the board game and RPG, Battletech and Mechwarrior respectively. They're a lot of fun! Haven't played them in a while thanks to school. Why do you want to know anyway? Got a question?
