ST Bothans?

They were human-like before they were turned into Lion/Camel men.

 

As well as the planet Goth, a brooding lair of darkness and spiked hairstyles that is locked in an eternal war with neighboring systems Emo and Vampkiids.

 

They are long overdue for an appearance. I thought Lucas would put them somewhere in the PT, then TCW series, but nothing.

 

No I don't think we should see them, and quite honestly I don't think anyone in the Star Wars Galaxy knows what they look like. If everyone knows that Bothans are he best spies in the galaxy, well who the hell is going to let a Bothan get close to them? Right from the get go the Bothan is stereotyped. That brings me to another thought, no one would let a Bothan work for them in a regular 9 to 5 job, could you imagine the nightmare it would create for Human Resources?

Bothan to co-worker: Good morning, how are you today?
co-worker: Why do you want to know?
Bothan: What do you mean?
co-worker: why would you want to know how I am doing today... are you, are you spying on me?
Bothan : That's it, that is the typical stereotype that I am tired of putting up with. Just because I am a Bothan doesn't mean I am a spy! I'm going to Human Resources!

My thoughts are that no one knows what a Bothan looks like, otherwise no one would let one get close enough to spy on them.

 

What better creature to spy on any and all others if it can disguise itself as any creature so may be Bothans should be shape-shifters?

 

PT had Jar-Jar (although due to the complains, he made fewer appearances than intended)
OT had Chewbacca (and also briefly appeared in the PT, perhaps will briefly appear in the ST)
ST will have a Bothan (hopefully)

 

Freakin' hate Bothans. Especially the spies on BF2. Always used to get me.

 

I'd love to see Bothans, though tbh I'm not a huge fan of their design in the EU, so I wouldn't mind them being completely rebooted.

 

I thoght you meant the Banthas first. But they have similarities.

 

There was an alien that I first took to be a Bothan in the AOTC seperatists council. Only visible for a second. He looked similar to the EU version:

 

It'd be funny if Bothans was a family name.

I have to admit if I were to be a Jedi Farfalla would as close to my personality and still be a 'Jedi' since he's pretty and likes nice clothes haha

 

As long as thet aren`t revealed to be ancestors of the Kajiit from Elder Scrolls....

 

Wasn't the look of the Bothans already established in The Clone Wars? Which as we know is canon...

I don't think they've ever been confirmed as appearing in TCW - though I haven't seen Season 6 yet.

 

I don't remember anything about Bothans in the TCW.

 

Maybe I am thinking of something else. I only saw the series all the way thru once.
