    Personally I don't have a big problem with it, while it would be weird to see a new Luke. How about the fans here? I think many people would have problem with it, that's why I prefer a new era.

    Not really. They were too young to be recast well.

    I wouldn't like them recasting any of those characters. So I hope that they set the movie for enough in the future that we won't have to worry about them recasting those roles.

    I could. I think that, if their story is so important that they need to be main characters, and the original trio are too old to believably play those characters, I'd rather see a re-cast than a forced fit.

    Of course, I've got fingers crossed that the new tril will be far enough in the future that it's not necessary to recast.

    if they have a really good story set soon after ROTJ, sure. But I really like the idea of an older Luke passing the baton to the new generation of Jedi Knights.
