Autograph Program Details From Our Site: There will be more Star Wars
actors signing autographs than have ever been assembled before at
Celebration III! A lot of planning and preparation have been put into the
operation of the Autograph Hall to make your experience a pleasant one. If
you take a few minutes to read this over, you'll see how the Hall will
operate and get the autographs that you want as easily and quickly as
possible.

The Answer Booth: There be an Answer Booth just outside the hall doors,
and Volunteers all will be wearing orange or red Official Pix shirts.
If you have a question, please ask one of the Official Pix Volunteers.

How to get Autographs: We have two kinds of autographs. Personal, where
you wait in line to get it in person with the actor and Pre-signed,
where the actor has pre-signed Limited Edition Celebration III photos,
which are available in the Pre-Signed area of the room.

Personal Autographs: Before getting an autograph you must first
purchase autograph coupons. Coupons are $10 each, and the actors require
between 1 and 3 coupons for each autograph. Limited Edition Celebration III
photos are also available for purchase at $5.00 each, but may only be
purchased with an autograph. If you are providing your own item to sign,
you don't need to purchase a photo.

Because there are so many actors, more than 40, and photos (108+), we
have printed order form booklets. You can pickup an order booklet from
the Answer Booth. The booklet shows each actor, his or her photos, and
how many coupons are required for that actor. The form is designed to
help you easily decide how many autograph coupons and photos you might
want to purchase. You will need to complete this form prior to entering
the coupon purchase line. You may pay with cash, or credit card,
including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.

Pre-Signed Autographs: We also have a store where you may purchase many
of the same autographed Limited Edition photos without waiting in the
sometimes long personal autograph lines. This line will allow you to
choose from autographed photos, even if the actor has not arrived yet.

Managing Lines: We have planned for a Fast Path system and will begin
using it if either of the lines grow very long. We will hand out tickets
to anyone who asks, to return no sooner than 1 hour in the future. The
Fast Path ticket has an appointment time on it. You may leave and
return to the shorter Fast Path line only during the printed time on the
ticket. For example, if it says 1:30 - 2:00, then you must enter the line
between those hours and you will receive priority access to the
cashiers.

We expect that only about 25% of our actors will have lines significant
enough to warrant special line management. The process for controlling
these lines is achieved with numbered wristbands. Upon purchasing your
coupons, you will be given a wristband that is numbered. At the
entrance to each of the controlled actor lines there will be an elevated
marker board. On it will be a number between 1 and 21. When we start the
day, we will write a number 1 on the board, indicating those with a 1 on
their band may enter the line. We will keep raising the number until we
have a full queue. Additionally, we will raise the number throughout
the day to fill the queue up as

Most of us will be staying at the Courtyard Marriott, but at the next meeting we'll figure out final roommate assignments!

 

With all you guys going I had best get at least one phone call telling me how much fun you're having and how you wish I was there.

 

I ordered two Star Wars ROTS Souvenir Movie Guide with all the actors in it. It's hard covered as well. I plan to take that one as well as see if I can't get any autographs in it.

I cannot believe GL is going to be there...I am going to pee.

 

Make sure you pee in a cup, then instead of telling GL how his movies make you feel, you can SHOW him instead!

 

Almost forgot, if anyone wants to volunteer 2+ hours at the Master Replicas booth, let me know. There MAY be something in it for you.....MAYBE.

Is anyone here flying with Southwest Airlines? I'm flying with them and it looks like I'm going to be by myself on the plane and I was just wondering if anyone else was going into Indianpolis with them because Southwest will switch me to another one of their flights for free.

 

Hey Matt I'll volunteer for the MR thing. I tell people about their sabers all the time anyway!

 

Maybe I'll get GL to sign my C-2 exclusive "Jorge Sacul" figure? (his X-WING pilot alter-ego) And let it be known, I also want in on working the MR booth. I practically was playing with them the whole time at WonderCon! And all the times I was demo-ing them to the public, I felt like I was on some Jedi info-mercial

 

If you don't get to see George at C3, there's always the charity premiere on May 12, or maybe the midnight show on the 19th?
