MCR, I would only be happier if I had a swimming pool full of mushy peas.

I can offically say this is the greatest month of my life.

I told my mate all this season never to give up PMA, and we didn't, until half time....

Walk on, Walk on, with hope, in your heart
    And you'll never walk alone

    Congrats Liverpool!

I've become rather disillusioned with football lately with this Glazer thing, as I cant see how Man United will cope to repay all this debt if its put on United. Its five times what nearly crippled Leeds.

Well Mr 421, I have only one idea that could possibly be a big enough earner to repay the debts while still making Man Utd profitable.

    European Superleague.

It really is the only possible way that he can make money. Of course all this is based on current champions league budgets, and I do not think that the money they predict it could make would be made by it.

Well played, Liverpool. Glad you won!!! After all, there's no shame in getting knocked out by the eventual winners!!

Incredible. I admit that I was 100% certain at half time that Milan had won it. Congratulations to Liverpool, that was simply amazing.

Anyone else notice how far Dudek came out in a few of the penalties? I'm suprised he got away with it.

Also, in the match penalty, a Liverpool player was well inside the area when the penalty was taken.

Well done Liverpool! Nice one, although thanks to you the O2 network was clogged up and now all my friends have 20+ texts :(

Very annoying for them. Not that anyone needed to know that :p

I'm still not convinced that Gerrard will stay.

I'm still not convinced that Gerrard will stay.

IMO it depends on whether Liverpool can wangle a fifth English place in the next season's CL.

Wow! Calmed down a bit since last night but still buzzing. May 2005 has been by far been the best month of life! ROTS been here and Liverpool winning the Champoins League! I still can't take in what happened last night. At half time I felt a tear run down my face, dissapointment sinking in, not only have we lost the final but we got thrashed. Then the second half, I couldn't be bothered to cheer anymore I was trying to hard not to cry, then Gerrard's goal lifted me right out of my seat, at last something to cheer about! then Smicer's goal I went ecstatic! I believed once again that we could do it. Then when Alonso got the rebound to the penalty and I was shouting as loud as I could. Then when the pens where over I slid across the floor on my chest, got all carpet burns up my arms but I didn't care. Then seeing Gerrard lift the Cup it was the best day of my life, nothing can surpass that feeling. :D

    Impressive, most impressive.

As a neutral, slightly erring on the English side, that was a great game. I couldn't help but think that Liverpool deserved to lose in the first half as Milan were playing some sweet football, and then LOL in the second half.

Congratulations Liverpool! That was a fantastic fightback and they thoroughly deserve to be european champions. Dudek was sensational despite conceding three goals in the first half. Yeah I also noticed he came out in a couple of the penalties, but Milan didn't protest so I thought nothing of it. It was great to see Gerrard lead the team so well despite the half-time scoreline. I'm beginning to think maybe he's the man to lead England next summer.

Fair play to them indeed, I was upset when they knocked us out (the ball never crossed the line) but that's the way it goes :( I'll not complain, I've waited years and years to see us win the league, and it finally happened, so it's not all bad.
