If there's a bright centre to the universe, it had better be a pleasant 19 degrees (centigrade) with a light breeze.

British have fabulous accents, though.

 

I would say that depends very much on which bit of the country you're talking about. I'm not naming any regions here but some British accents I'm not at all fond of.

 

Even those are better than many of ours.

 

I'm with RC on both counts. Some UK accents do grate on my ears but so far its much less than fellow American ones.

 

I like a soft American accent. I kind of like that deep south accent too, as a curiosity. I've often found it hard to understand though, when I've heard it on telly

 

I have a weird mix of Canadian and Chicagoan. Some say it's scary, other think it's beautiful. I personally think the Canadian makes me sound so strange.

 

I don't even think I have one. But then that may be normal. I asked Rick if I have an accent to him and he says not really which I take as a compliment.
