oh btw go for a 8100 model, the parts are interchangeable so if in a year you want a new video card you can just take old one out and put it in..

and you can get it for under 1500, just might have to go with a 16 inch monitor and get ride of the msworksuit and office 2002

software isnt worth the money anyways.

basicaly if you need a decent gaming computer for under 1500 and has to be retail dell is your best choice followed by gateway.

    A7M is better.

And I know, I should have gone with an Abit. Oh well, I might upgrade before JKII if I have TEH FUNDS.

"Don't movies only run at 24 fps? But we don't notice because it doesn't change at all... or something.

Anyway, I was running UT today at 1280*1024 with maximun details at 70 fps. Is that good, or is there something wrong"

I believe that price included the $300+ monitor. But yeah, I could've found better deals I'm sure. And that crappy motherboard... meh. Got rid of that.

This rig needs a GF4. :D Too bad I'm very poor at the moment.

I'll post my system specs to dazzle whoever doesn't quite match up and to get snickers at my lack of power for those who beat my specs. Here I go, this will be as of friday when I switch things around:

-2 80mm fans in back, 2 in front
-Asus A7V266-E 200/266 MHz FSB mobo
    -AMD XP2000 1.65 GHz socket A cpu
    -Thermaltake Volcano 7 on cpu
-768 MB PC2100 DDR RAM (Kingston)
-2 40 GB 7200 RPM ATA 100 Western Digital HD
-Gainward GEFORCE3 64 MB DDR VIVO + DVI
    -Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum EX
    -SCSI adapter card
