Cincin, OH Dayton & Cinci joint Coockout/Party?

Hey guys!

I talked to Jedi-Junkie about having a joint cookout/party, and she loved the idea!
So, who would be interested here, and where would you rather have it? Up there in Dayton, somewhere in Cinci, at my house in KY? I don't mind hosting it, I just thought we might want a change for a while lol
Just share your thoughts!!

 

these were always fun, so I'm up for it. I'd prefer somewhere up here, but anywhere is cool

 

I as well would like to hold it somewhere up there. How about a picnic area? Does anyone know of a good park to the north of Cincinnati?

 

Hueston Woods would be a good place. they have a beach and a picnic area. It's just outside of Miami U.

 

Why not go canooing on the Miami Whitewater and have a cookout there?
Make a day of it.

I haven't actually canooed in ages, but that does sound like a lot of fun. Schedul's permiting, count me in.

 

Where is this Miami Whitewater thing? Is it at Houston Woods, or am I getting confused?

Wow, I haven't been in a canoe in years. We used to go up there for Boy Scout campouts and the last time I went, me and some friends just went tubing, which basically means we laid out in a few rubber tubes and drank beer and got a tan . I would be up for this and there are plenty of places to hold the cookout up there. I've even seen people bring the grill on the canoe with them lol. One group had two canoes tied together and a HUGE grill up front with all their condements on the front seat of the canoe. Can't wait to meet up with you all!

 

All I know is if we want to reserve a spot at a park then we have to get something together asap so we can call and get a spot.

 

Good thinking... We seem to have enough interest to get this thing going!!
