What:
Mr. Jeremy Bulloch is coming to Grand Rapids for us. We have personally asked him to join us in helping to raise funds for the Make A Wish foundation (M.A.W). To help us raise funds Mr. Bulloch will be bringing several items to auction off during our event/s. Besides Mr. Bulloch being present, there will also be several other ways for us to raise funds. Like previous events, we will be hosting a photo booth and again having M.A.W bracelets. We will also be accepting toy donations to be given to the Toys For Tots organization.

The Toy show has offered to put Mr. Bulloch and his wife up for three nights, provide him with food during his stay and has also offered to provide him with a driver to drive him around town. The only thing Mr. Bulloch has asked of us is to help pay his way to Grand Rapids. With that request made, we agreed to it. His way has been paid and he is all set to join us! Thanks to everyone who was able to help with that!

What:
We will set up our display and photo booth along with a signing table for Mr. Bulloch at Studio 28. We will also continue acepting donations for Make A Wish and Toys For Tots. We were not able to get the digital print of EPIII but are still working at getting a 35mm print for a charity screening.


I would like everyone who can make it to Grand Rapids to block this weekend out for this event, this is big, if you ask me, and put our best foot forward!

Well, if charge $5 for an autograph (a bargain compared to conventions) and 100 people show up- there you go.
I'd pay 5 bucks for him to sign my orange card POTF2 Boba Fett still in package.

 

He will be siging autographs at the show for $20 for an 8"x10" and $10 for anything else. For those of you who help us out with this event we may be able to get you a free autograph.

We have raised $343 so far.

Oh, okay. Thanks for the info. I'll have to ask my sister and her husband if they are interested- or even free to help out. We've done a couple fesitvals taking ticket money and selling their merchandise, most recently the Water Front Film Festival in Saugatuck.

I just sent her an email and I'll try to remember to check back here more often.

So when do people start signing up for this event even though I already posted I was going to be there? How many people do you have signed up from the 501st and Rebel Legion? Just wondering what the number count is for this event.


Since that Toys For Tots appearance at Kay-B Toys is in November when is that event going to happen?

 

We are going to start sigining people up by the end of the week. We have a few people on the 501st boards that say they want to come...

Plan for the weekend before thanksgiving for the Toys For Tots event. I will post once I know the times and date.

UPDATE.... Also After the toy show were might be having a all you can eat taco bar at Studio 28. The cost would be $8-$9 per person. Does this sound like something we would all be interested in?
