If it's a SW game, I normally just buy it. Other games I might rent or download its demo of the Net. Just a thought...anybody else ticked off about the Xbox edition of Clone Wars? That was one of the major reasons I bought a Gamecube, because it wasn't going to be on Xbox!!! Not that I mind now that Rebel Strike is coming out. Oh well.

Xbox, I usually play it off the demo disc if possible. Since my wife works at a video store I try out quite a few that way. If I really like them, then I buy.

I never rented a game, I just buy it...

...Oh, wait, you guys play on consoles where you can't do that... nevermind...

There is a thing called a demo disc, if you had a console you would have known that.
Besides unlike the PC there is a much smaller chance that a game sucks ;)

I buy more games, but that's because I usually only buy games that I know I'll like. I only rent games that I'm too cheap to buy, then just beat them and return them.

I always buy games; I don't think I've ever rented one before.

For PC, I usually borrow it from my friends to test it out before I buy it, though. :)

..i buy, mostly because there is no place around me anymore that DOES rent..

(videostores are going the way of the dinosaur.. The Satellite age hath made renting obsolete)

I always buy my games. I pretty much know when a game is going to be good so I go pre-order it. I find that renting is a waste of money, by the time you rent a ton of games you might as well have just bought it. I also like to take my time with games and really enjoy playing them, and since you cant rent games for a very long time I dont like that aspect either.
