anyone else sick of shania's "up" song thats playing on that damn Juno add every comericla break on CTV?

I love lots of Canadian indie bands: Starling, The Supers, Andy Stochansky, Lindy, Danny Michel, Lowest of the Low and lots more. And I LOVE Sloan!

 

At least that one's better than Skater Boy (I don't care what bizarre mockery of the English language she wants it spelled as, that's what it's called)

I couldn't believe that they graced my hometown with their presence back in '98. It was, however, awesome to see a full house (a casino ballroom, to be precise), and know thus that I wasn't the only Hip fan south of the border.
