Hiya Guys, here we go an Ani/Padme afterlife. Love ya'll, keep replying, won't ya!
Anakin's eyes were burned by the sudden glare of intensity. Light surrounded him, bound him tightly in its cleansing grasp, as though washing away all the sins. Finally, the bright, blinding light faded as much as light of the Eternal Force can. Anakin struggled to his feet amongst almost non-exsistent surface. He wobbled and swayed as he marveled at the lightness of his restored body. His now crystal eyes once more surveyed the new skin, new limbs, new...everything. He felt that everything was right again, that there was nothing he wanted for, but he was wrong. There was a dull aching in his newly beating heart, that made him long for something he wasn't even certain could be his.
    Padme?
His shaggy blonde head moved from side to side as he searched. But amongst the mass of figures, he never found the one that was truly an angel. No women with brown curls cascading down her shoulders and back, with chocolate pools of eyes that drowned him in their love, trust and upmost beauty. But, surely these were not all of the dead? Of course they weren't. The spirits he surveyed were few, and if all the dead truly resided here, there would be many more than a few. But how to set about finding one person in millions? No idea came to him. Then, he spotted something. A man with a white beard and intense eyes stared at him from across the endless sea of misty landscape.
    Obi-Wan?
Ther man smiled, as though reading his thoughts, and knowing their truth. He made his way in a floating style, his wrinkled, wise head encased in his Jedi hood, obscuring his presence from those who did not know him, or search for him. He finally came to Anakin and the expression upon his face was as unreadable as always. Not a thing could be seen amongst his features to suggest his mood. But then it broke into a friendly almost...loving smile. He brought his hand upon his old friends shoulder reassuringly and smiled softly at his bemused expression before saying lightly:
"She's waiting for you. She has been for 20 years."
A smile lit up the former Sith's face for the first time in just as long, and the scene began to fade, to be repolaced by one he only ever dreamed of.
    Varykino?
It couldn't be Varykino. Varykino was on Naboo, and he was in the Ethereal Force, wasn't he? But, one thing certified this doubt. Wandering amongst the untamed, lush spring grass of the Shaak filled meadow, was...
    Padme? Here?
She looked lazily around as if the landscae was something she frequently looked upon. She swirled round her luscious curls flying through the air to rest on her shoulders that were enclosed in a golden material that was so familiar, but at the same time felt distant. He hadn't even noticed that when she had turned, her eyes had rested on him. His pleasant drowning had begun as she gaped at him, unable to understand to even dare to believe that he was here. He smiled that rougish grin at her, and although it was uncertain he saw her heart melt in her emotion filled orbs. She held her arms out to him and he rushed into them, more happy than he had been in two decades. He gathered her in his embrace and lifted her effortlessly from the ground, spinning wildly around. Finally, as dizziness overcame them both they fell back, letting the dew drop filled prickling vegitation of the hillside swallow them, as they gazed deeply at each other.
Anakin extended his hand uneasily, frightened to let himself beleive that this was real, that she was real and that she wouldn't flinch and move away at his touch. And she didn't. He carressed her cheek lightly, moving his hand to her lips, she giggled, her purifying, melodic, calming laugh and he moved to her. He wasn't afraid anymore. He captured her smooth, scarlet lips in his own and stroked her hair lovingly as her hands wandered across his spine. They finally parted, more for want of air than anything else, and Padme stood. She extended her hand and he took it willingly, pulling himself up and w

I like this beginning. Very interesting concept indeed! But you did have to leave it there didn't you?! Look forward to seeing where you take this, and the next installment.
