    Love the name. Love it.

    However it needs to be pointed out that the dishonest media are reporting that this is the about the last Jedi. When I looked out at Ach-to I saw 1 million, 1.5. million Jedi. Sad!

    Love the red lettering. Episo...wait The Last Jedi works real well. Certainly confirms the focus will be on Luke.

    Only thing, are all the saga films going to have the title between Star Wars now? I really liked how ESB and ROTJ had different logos. I guess the prequels were all the same style but the variation of the OT was pretty cool.

    Would it be possible for Lucasfilm to retroactively change TFA's title to "A Force Awakens"? Just to keep consistency throughout the trilogies. It just sounds so dumb with two "The" after each other. Also, two films close to each other with the word "Jedi"...

    At least it seems like many people here love it. Maybe because it sounds so cool and aims directly at Luke. Cool titles are more important than consistency.

    Yeah, same here. It certainly has a lot more old school "serial" punch than TFA.

    Damn, so it was TLJ after all, I thought they would keep the wording the same and have a 4 word title.

    I think TLJ would be a far better title for the final film of the trilogy to be honest.

    even if it's plural that just means it's about Luke and Rey which is exactly what RJ has said in the last 10 days. That the movie is about Luke and Rey and their relationship and how it's the main one of VIII.

    I think its a great title. I assume it refers to Luke, but it could mean several things. Good job Rian!

    Thing is that outside of ANH which was placed in after George's titles are all pretty ludicrous as per the pulpy Republic Serial titles.

    TESB, ROTJ, TPM, AOTC and ROTS are just that. TFA is not too bad in that regard. I mean not as "bad" as it should be. TLJ is more a reflection to ANH to me in that regard.

    Now if Luke had been featured in VII then TLJ would have worked for it.

    So it's sort of shifted one over.

    My prediction is that it is a fluid title and, at the beginning of the film, it is absolutely about Luke. But, by the closing credits, it encompasses so much more.

    I'm intrigued but not too happy about this.
    New Jedi Order book series for ST. TLJ will probably still be decent though. Not sorry either way.
