Favorite charector in the first Movie

R2-D2, followed by Watto.

 

Maul. He should have been in the film longer, or survived into AOTC or Episode III. Waste.

my favourite character strictly from TPM is probably Aurra Sing.

 

Defiantly Sabé. Or Padmé & Sabé from a technical standpoint I suppose; since costumes was one of the main reasons for them being my favorite characters.

Obi-Wan comes in for a close second though, followed by Qui-Gon. (Liam Neeson was one of the best casting calls ever made for Star Wars in my opinion.)

 

I'd have to say my fave is Maul followed closely by Sidious. Qui Gonn was good though as well.

If there was more emphasis on character devolpment in Darth Maul then I think he'd figure as an all time great in the Star Wars saga. Less build of the stupid antics from Jar Jar would have made up for that though!

 

I sooo agree w/ Darth_Simasu, Qui Gonn Jinn by far ! he was like a Druid ,in our world. in touch w/ all. he didn't care if Ani would turn i believe becouse he saw in him something that had to happen or full fill as the prophecy said.
his deminor, the way he crried himself and handled things was great. a strong man in his sixties, he was. i could have seen him go the distance in this trilogy. could he have prevented Ani from turning? maybe even sence and find out the works of the sith and expose the problem. another thing, Liam N. played this guy great ! He is Qui Gonn !!
Last; Darth Maul should have survived. he was increadible! looks, fighting style, SABER, you name it.

 

Its a tie between Darth Maul and Obi-Won.

Ewan did a fantastic job with Obi-won's character, I can totally see him become the wise old Jedi on Tantooine. Plus he is brash and powerful, when I imagined his character before I saw the movie, my premonition was totally correct. Not often does that happen when anticipating a movie.

And Darth Maul, what can I say, pure brilliance in character design. Alot of people think hes to flashy or that he needed more lines or he should have made it into AOTC. But I beg to differ, he gives us a great introduction to the sith for he is purebred (Vader and Tyrannus were once Jedis.)

The fact that he doesn't say much makes him even cooler to me, he doesn't have to talk smack, he knows he's one bad a$$ mofo.

 

Qui-Gon. He's a rogue and lives by the standard that "stupid rules are made to be broken." He's a good Jedi in that he thinks for himself and follows the will of the Force rather than some stupid thousand-year-old Code. Go Qui.

my favorite character is that guy at the end who suspiciously resembles Rick McCallum.

 

For me its a real toss up between Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon.

Worst= that podracer who's pod broke down at the beginning of the race. He was really stupid and looked like something off of Sesame Street or something .

 

Yeah, Ben Quadinaros wasn't exactly the best looking alien in the galaxy. He's kind of just a head with legs and arms.
