Yeah, well, me too... but you know... the old lack of money is very evil. :(

I guess I'll have to come another time! ;)

So... what's happening in here? :)

    Hey Enji! :D

Nothing much is happening over here. At the moment, and at least at my place, it's too hot to do anything... We should have a pool. Or live right next to the beach. Preferably both. ;) I'm just meeeelting...

Lack of money is truly the root of all Evil.
    Sometimes. :p

But to say the truth: the only places I could realistically visit are Tallinn and Stockholm.
They're cheap. The trip, I mean.

There are incredibly cheap ways to travel almost anywhere -- if you're willing to take the chances. ;) Hitch a ride, for instance. :D Just beware of the nutters who may try to kill/torture or otherwise chop you into pieces and make you vanish from the face of this Earth.

Or you can walk. Beware of blisters, dangerous animals, flea infestations and the likes. :D It's possible, anyhow. ;)

Or you can catch a train. Inter-rail tickets aren't that expensive, and you see quite a bit of europe that way. you still have to beware of pick-pockets, thiefs, people out to kill unsuspecting foreigners, and if the train actually makes it in time for you to catch the other connection. But it's quite an adventure, according to friends I know who've done it.

Then again, you can always just wait till you win the lotto, and travel first class anywhere. :D I kind of like this last option, for some reason...

Walking from Finland to Portugal? Hmmm... Nope, I'm not going to walk 10 meters in Russia. No.
Railing could be interesting, but I wouldn't want to do it alone (and I don't have friends who'd come with me). And I might be too lazy ;)

2 months? I wouldn't. I'm way too lazy and I require comfiness ;) Walking around europe wouldn't be comfortable. Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, France, Spain and finally Portugal. Maybe I missed some countries, but I think those are the ones I'd have to go trough.
"Come to the con" they said...
    "See the world" they said...

    Hehe... :D

I walk from my house to the centre of the city. It takes about 30 minutes. More than that is just... boring. ;)

Tiago... I once taped ISD to the floor in a thread in FF Nordic Countries. Long story... you can read the thread here if you'd like. (It's in English, and rather weird.) ;)

Anyway, however you manage to be here, ISD, it's nice to see you. :)

a big UP for this thread :D

How are you guys? :D [:D]

Talking about walking: A friend of mine walked from where we live to Berlin which is about 620 kilometers... I think it tok him two weeks... I'd prefer train too, that would take only five hours :p

I just came from a karate championship.
Placed 8th in 13 guys. So i am quite frustrated at it.
I didn't expected to win, but i did expected better.
All the others where either the same level of me or higher.
Altough i can also see it the other side:
    - That i was able to score better than 5 guys. Even tough i did not practiced karate for 5 years and only went back this past January. And on all of this total time (almost 6 years) i never trainned the "Tekki Shodan". And only had one class (1 hour) for preparing it, most of that time alone cause the sensei was busy preparing the little kids. The "tekki shodan" is a "middle level" kata (the others used "advanced level" katas, so they are better pontuated) And i still haven't confirmed but i think only 2 other guys presented a "tekki shodan" (was the lowest kata presented on my group of competition. Is the one used for the red belt reach the 1st brown belt. There are 3 browns before the 1st black.) And from those, mine has been the better scored. So i only have these to hold on. And not be even more sad.
But definitly i want to do better and *have preparation* for a tornament happening this month end.

    My score was: 3.4 3.4 3.5 3.5 = 6.9
(best a and worst are removed and the rest is sum)
    The top guy (2ºdan, i'm a 3ºkyu [1st of the 3 brown levels]) did 7.6.
What madden me to my self was me still be in a 6.x level score. And i was schocked receiving not one but two 3.4 . The least i would expect was 3.5 , never bellow it. [face_worried]

Edit: The group I participated was "Males +16years Individual Kata."
