While Catalyst references Hypori, with the wrecked Acclamator - it would be nice to see more of the microseries get referenced - perhaps Ventress and Anakin's duel on Yavin IV, for example.

 

If it is strictly a Hera/Leia/Han team up that may confirm that Kanan and Ezra are definitely out of the picture of the Rebellion by that point. It wouldn't make much sense for Hera to be on Endor for that mission but not Kanan and Ezra if they both were still involved with the war.

This is what I was thinking. On the one hand I'm not sure they'd do the baby Ahsoka story unless she's got another episode featuring one of her older versions, but on the other hand Filoni seems to have this detailed (and adorable) origin story for her - definitely seemed like something he wanted to put out there in full, rather than just a few seconds in TCW and references in the Ahsoka novel, and these little short cartoons would be a perfect format to finally sneak it in.

How? I thought these weren't supposed to come out until July.

 

There was a screening of (at least one?) short at SWCO.

 

Are we allowed to know what happened in the short or is the story so canon shattering they don't want it spoiled?

 

These are the equivalent of the comic books that used to come with toys, aren't they? Like the Jedi Starfighter attack mode comic book or something.

 

Anyone know if the Daring Adventures books/comics (I'm not sure which they are) will be adaptations of the episodes or will they be separate, new stories?

 

Are they planning on having comic books out of the force for destiny?

 

I think the rogue one comic#2 might of given us a clue to a team-up in this show that has been said will happen. In a flashback you see a young Jyn standing next to Saw while he is debating something with Bail Organa who has a young Leia standing by his side at the Yavin base.

 

Hopefully not, because that makes a reeeeal mess of the timeline.

 

I don't know about that. The Rebel Rising book jumps ahead about six years in the first 50 pages so there obviously was a lot of stuff that happened that the book didn't cover.

 

Pfft. For me, I think Mace Windu is capable of everything the kid saw.

 

Insofar as Leia appears to be a kid in the image, when neither the rebellion nor the Yavin base is likely to exist. Leia can only be 14 tops at this point, to match Jyn's timeline with Saw, which seems too early.

 

the Rebel Alliance didn't exist then but the Yavin base could of been Bail's secret base for his rebel cell, before they all joined to form the alliance.

 

Yeah the Alliance as a whole didn't exist (and likely even resistence cells were sparse at that time as well). But people like Bail Organa and Saw would have been planning out a way to combat the Empire from practically the beginning. So showing that image isn't out of the realm of possibility at all.

 

Ashley Eckstein said it was going to be TCW version of Ahsoka but I would like stories of her as Fulcrum alone or with Hera/Sabine.

 

Er, why does it have to be Yavin 4 at all? Just because the round computer table and the panels are the same as in the Massassi war room? Those things are probably not unique, you know.

 

The Propaganda book pretty clearly implies this.

 

Sabine choosing to stay with her Mandalore family was probably put in to explain where she would have been while the OT was going on.

 

We already got a reference to Mace's army fighting on Dantooine, way back in TCW season 2.
