Free Website Hosting?!?!?

I need help finding a good free website host. I'm using geocities right now, but I want to move somewhere better. I looked at freewebs but you have to pay for FTP. I need a host that has free FTP, SSI (which most do) and good BW (unlike geocities lol). Any help?

Wow I didn't see that, thats a real good idea. Ok now freewebs is my 1st choice, but still I like to have FTP.

 

Unlucky you. If you were paying attention when you signed up, 1and1.com was giving away free websites for a promotional offer.

Thats just for domain names, like cjb.net , which is what i use.

no files over 1mb
no .mov, .avi, etc
no picture galeries

so... basically just webpages with a few pics i guess.

Dont use freewebs! The download time sucks on it! how about www.tripod.com

 

I use 2webh at www.2webh.com I get 300 MB of space, 10GB of bandwith, FTP, MySQL and Cpanel. But to get one you have to post 35 good posts on their forums, and then they have to accept you, but it only took like 3 days. And it was free.
