if I miss any of my old computer games, I can just install 'em and play 'em, I've got everyone I've ever owned 'cept Wing Commander: Privateer (which kicks ass), I lost the disks (yes disks, about over 6 floppies to be exact) to it.

Altered Beast!! That's it!! Thanks to whoever came up with it. I paid for it and eventually outgrew the Genesis and gave it to my little brother, so technically I "own" it.

A tip when searching the web for stuff.....

Never give up. Even though a link may turn out dead, there are always other sites. Remember one or two big sites and some links sites. Turn up every possible site for the game you want. It will be worth it.

Omi-gosh!! Boulderdash??!!! Whoa! I didn't think anyone would remember that, let alone have played it... That was one hard game.

Heh, 80% of the games still worked when I tried them 3 years ago. Boulderdash, Jumpman Junior Train, G n G. Green Beret, Beach Head, and Superpipeline were the ones I distinctly remember playing.

As a kid, I remember playing all the Learning Company games (Treasure Mountain, Midnight Rescue, etc) I used to play. I thought they were they were the coolest and I always wanted to get the newest one.

One game I realy loved was a post apocalyptic side scroller called, Trojan. It was so cool there would be guys dressed like they were right out of the road Warrior. Remebered there would be one guy who would hide in the sewers and as you were walking through the street he would pop out and shoot a crossbow at you. I would love to play that game again aswell as Commando and the old Gauntlet game.

well, basically we all played the c64 games too much, i think they just wore out or something, plus we had a ton of copied games that were not the best quality, and those old 5 in floppies must have been pretty vulnerable to degredation, we also went through about 8 joysticks too, never really like keyboard games personally

    Old time fav: Lemmings.

But Howlie, if you can find a game called "Dave in the haunted house(I think the title goes like that") He is a hunter-dressed like one, has to battle ghosts in a three story building then go to the basement and meet the warewolf.

Geez I love that game and all effort to find it has failed-if anyone can locate it, contact me on private message and we can discuss things further.

I can't believe I forgot this game.. Anybody remember The Castles of Dr. Creep?

Now that is one awesome game. The first decent game I've played co-op (and sometimes "against" - deathmatch wasn't invented yet...)

Those puzzles are great! Playing co-op has never been better (except Quake and Doom)

Shadow President is soooooo cool! I downloaded it and have been playing it all afternoon. I just hate having to answer to those pathetic civilians. Like what they say matters or something. I had conquered Mexico, the Caribbean (except Cuba; I didn't need a war with Russia...yet), all of Central America, and was attacking Columbia when they finally ousted me. But I'll be back! They'll live to regret this.......

Mutant League Football. It was a game for Sega Genesis with a sci-fi twist. It was very gory, but very fun. I miss that game. :-(

The best game ever made was Wasteland by Electronic Arts. It was a top-down RPG (Ultima 1-5), of course, but like none other - it was set in a Mad Max time period and it had some revolutionary stuff like being able to split parties on seperate maps.

The game was unbelieveable! And of course, if my memory serves me right, some guy by the name of Mike Stackpole had his hand in its creation. I think I remember when it first came out, I was like "oh it's that T&T guy" should be a good RPG. Wonder what he's been up to lately ;)

Some magazine released it about a year ago on a free CD and it still holds up today. If you're a RPG player and haven't played it, you need to. If you're not an RPG player but want to see what it's about - play it. It's that good.
