A large travel mug from the Wall Street Deli holds an entire beer. And has a lid. Or, at least the ones sold circa 1995 did.

I'm all for hanging out in costume at a swanky hotel - but what the hey, let's go for the Hilton on Embassy Row LOL

That could really be fun, and boy would it throw people off too.

The funny thing is if we did it in San Francisco, no one would notice

 

Except that shouldn't in San Francisco the guys in our group be dressed as Slave Leia? Bruce?

 

I second the nomination for Bruce to dress as Slave Leia. Motion carried!

 

Surely, if I can make a belly dancing bra, I can make a Slave Leia one.....

 

One year out in SF around Halloween someone posted on the SF boards saying that they were trying to assemble as many people in Princess Leia costumes as possible in the Castro on Halloween itself. I have no idea why or if it happened at all, but this is beginning to remind me of that ... we could get a legion of slave Leias ... Ken would also make a great slave Leia, judging from his Mara Jade ...

 

I was just thinking the same thing myself.

After the past couple of weeks I could sure use a good ole' fashion slacker con.

 

I also think Ken would make a fabulous ANH Leia.

Sounds like we've definitely got the makings of a good old slackercon!!!

(for the new folks, SlackerCon was a little gathering we have had twice - there's no programming, no fixed date, just some hanging out. You know, on account of we're slackers)

 

Ken *would* look fetching in those double buns!!

 

Especially if I modified the Mara Jade wig....

 

Well let's make up our minds, shall we? Do you want Ken in the friggin' Leia slave girl outfit or do you want me wearin' it???

I suppose I could do Oola if we can whip up enough green body paint.
