    I've always said Tol-ken. but I guess that's horribly and disgustingly wrong.

    I pronounce it as Tol-keen, which is how I've heard it on tv commentary and from the teacher who introduced me to The Hobbit.

    I'd pronouce it, "TOLL-keen". Though, it could just be my hispanic accent ;) :p .

    Considering the name is actually pronounced "Toll-keen," that is how I pronounce it.
