How Many Transports were at Hoth?

    How many transports were at Hoth? The old Rebel Alliance Source book says there were six, but the Inside the Worlds of Star Wars book says thirty. Is there a retcon or something?

    Well, 17 were reported destroyed in TESB novel and in Tales of the Bounty Hunters. And we know a bunch got away, so 30 seems like a reasonable number. Doesn't seem to be a retcon at all.

    IIRC, around thrity Gallofree medium transports were stationed on Hoth. Plus there were six heavy transports assigned to Echo Base as well. (I forget the class of them, but I seem to recall it starting with a "K".)
